I've just got to tell you this ...I've just come home from an Iberian cruise that I took in Spain, Portugal and France. While we were in Vigo, Spain I asked directions to a cash machine, bought coffee and cola in Corte Ingles, bought t-shirts and skirts for my two daughters, and asked an assistant if they had a coat in a larger size. Out on the street I asked a local if she would take my photo (with one of my daughters) and went to a bar and ordered beers and cola.

When we finished that I asked to waiter where the public toilets were! At Christmas I couldn't speak a word. Thank you for giving me the confidence to try. Next year I'm going on a walking holiday in Valencia, Once again, thanks.

Without Rocket French, I would not have been nearly as comfortable touring – and wine tasting - in France. As you can see from the picture, I had no trouble making myself understood! I was much more relaxed in my travels after spending a few weeks with the Rocket French course.

I tried a *Competitor* and, while it is admittedly well written, I found that the audio portion of Rocket French was absolutely essential to proper pronunciation of French words.

French is not a language that allows you to sound out the syllables. There seems to be many more letters on the page than actually reach the ears. It looks like they use a lot of unnecessary characters. The language does have rules, though, and those rules are well pointed out in this course. Learning the basic grammar early on aided in comprehension immensely. And repeatedly hearing the words, especially while reading them, helped gain an understanding of how they should sound.

The course is set up so that I could pick and choose whichever lessons most suited my needs. After the first few foundational lessons, I found that I could defer some of the topics that I would not need right away.

I recently graduated from the college of William Mary, last semester I had to take some intensive Spanish classes and I needed to get up to speed really fast and I'm not that good at languages and William Mary it's pretty tough. So, I asked last Christmas my parents for, actually I asked them for **Competitor**, but my mum did a lot of research, which she is really good at and I ended up with Rocket Spanish instead.

So at Christmas I got a big box with my Rocket Spanish CD's and I was in business. I started exactly on the Christmas holiday going through them and I was really thrilled.

Rocket Spanish is really so friendly and comfortable and it was a perfect match for the way that I study, I guess the way that I learn. I was doing a lot of driving between school and my parent's house and my boyfriend and I spent a lot of time in the car and those CD's in the car were just terrific. It probably looks strange to outsiders when I'm speaking to myself in the car, but it really, really truly helps to say out loud and over and over again. I especially liked the long pauses in the lessons so I can practice out loud. I also like the emails that I get with the little tips on grammar and phrases and cultural explanations, they are good little diversion between the real lessons.

Traveling, recently, this last year I went to Costa Rica and Panama in one trip, and I just got back from Thailand and I'm going to China this fall. The thing about the traveling in Costa Rica and Panama is that I wasn't afraid, I could just start to talk, I had my background of base verbs and conjugations, I knew some phrases, it was just a great building block that I could just jump in and start to talk.

So I can say the greatest single thing about Rocket Spanish is that I'm not afraid to start speaking anymore and that's not just in Spanish, when I was in Thailand, I know Cero Thai but because I had the confidence from Rocket Spanish I was just doing the best I could in Thai and getting by speaking. Nothing bad ever happened and only good things happened when you just start speaking to people, they're always responsive, really helpful and kind.

So I want to thank you for your program, Thank you for that little push made me do what I should have done before, which is to tell you what terrific program you have and I would recommend it to anyone and very, very grateful for the opportunity.

Hi, my name is Kate Joslin. While studying in Israel for seven months I made three friends: one each from France, Quebec and Belgium. I quickly became interested in the French language and they began to teach me a few things. Previously, I had never studied French before and didn't even know that "bonjour" was French! To say the least I had a totally blank slate to start from.

After these friends sparked my interest in French and came home determined to learn more. I stumbled upon Rocket French while looking for a program to introduce me to the language. After comparing it to some others I decided to give it a try. It looked like a great program (and it was the cheapest around!).

I was very pleased with Rocket French from the beginning. I didn't even have to wait for it to come in the mail, but began immediately exploring the program after I downloaded it. The lessons were very helpful and I enjoyed learning by reading and listening to the language. For such a beginner like myself I thought the lessons were very understandable and basic. Overall, I was very pleased with the program and thought the practical go-at-your-own-speed teaching style was great. My French began to improve and I had fun practicing everything I was learning on my French-speaking friends.

Unfortunately, I have had to give up on continuing the program for now. I am making plans to move to El Salvador in about one year and have decided it would be best to put my efforts into learning Spanish instead of French. Too bad Rocket Spanish wasn't included with Rocket French!

Prior to purchasing, I did extensive research on which Spanish language learning program to select... Rosetta Stone, Tell Me More, Visual Link, Learning Spanish Like Crazy, you name it, I researched and tried it (using trial software). But, at the end of the day - and countless hours of research - Rocket Spanish had the best interface, best reviews, and most accessible teaching methods. This will be the software that my wife and I will use to first, learn Spanish, and second, introduce our daughter to the language. Wish me luck!

We love Rocket Sign Language. My granddaughter and I use it a lot. It's pretty amazing to see a six year-old who can pick Sign Language up, we could not do that with other programs, so it was nice to see she could pick it up so easily. This is the best that there is. Thank you.

I am trying to learn Italian. It is something I have always wanted to do. After researching various language programs, I am completely happy with Rocket and am so glad I went with them. The other programs just don't offer the interaction like Rocket does. I always tell people about Rocket and how they will not be disappointed. Ciao, Don O

Hi, this is Joseph Seward I want to leave a testimonial. I live in Utah and work in California as a manager of a construction company, and I wanted to learn some Spanish so I could talk with a lot of Spanish speaking workers that we have here. I ordered Rocket Spanish about six months ago I've gone through all of the lessons.

I have a basic speaking knowledge right now of the language. I can carry on a basic conversation with the workers, I can meet someone new, I can ask them how they are, where they are from, I can shop at some of the local markets here, I can order in a restaurant. It is an excellent program, it is very simple it's very quick you can listen on your way to work, you can listen to it on your lunch hour, they are excellent, excellently constructed and they really give you a working knowledge of the language. I would highly recommend them to anyone else who is going on a trip to Mexico or just wants to be able communicate a little bit better.

It has truly helped me out on my job and I plan on going through them again and probably go through it three or four times. I really appreciate Rocket Spanish and I highly recommend it. Thank you.

I look forward to using Rocket Spanish every day. And now with the iPhone app, I can listen to the audio while I'm driving to work, and then study on the computer later. I am traveling to Spain in May, and can't wait to practice everything that I have learned so far!

I have been using Rocket Italian for about two months now and I really enjoy the lessons. I also like the cultural background in some of the lessons, since that helps you learn more about the everyday life in Italy. I am satisfied with the progress I have made so far, and recommended it to my wife who is now using it as well.

I have had the Rocket Spanish Program for about 5 years now. In this time I have moved around the country between three different states and completed my master's degree. However, no matter how busy I seem to become, I have always had the desire to come back to these courses. I have tried other courses and for me, Rocket Spanish is the easiest and most realistic. It teaches the language the way it is spoken and provides so much to help me perfect my usage. I really enjoy it and this time, I'm not stopping until I feel can carry on a conversation in Spanish as if I were speaking English. As my grandson says when he really likes something, "I loooooooove Rocket Spanish!

My experience with Rocket French has been a great one. It has everything that all of the very expensive computer programs like Rosetta has, but does not cost nearly as much. It's also very easy to use. I like to take my time, and not be rushed. I also like to go over things again and again. You can go as fast or as slow as you want with Rocket French, and that's what I love. I have found that I retain information, even when I have to take a break from studying because of work or travel commitments. I don't know where you could possibly get more for your money -- so all I can say is that I highly recommend it.

On my last trip to France, even though I have had very little time to devote to my French-speaking aspirations, I was able to have brief conversations with hotel clerks and waiters. For the most part, my beginning level communications were well tolerated by the French-speaking natives, and I do believe that they were even somewhat friendlier than they might have otherwise been.

Also, when my computer crashed and I lost everything on it, I emailed Rocket French and they IMMEDIATELY send me a file to re-access everything. How about that for customer service!

So thanks, Rocket French, and I hope to devote much more time to my French language studies soon.

I have been working on my French via Rocket French for three years with breaks of a few months here and there while traveling. I find it enjoyable and fulfilling when I jump back into Rocket French. The recent changes in the program have added to the enjoyment and learning experience. Keep up the good work! I appreciate it.

I was introduced to Rocket Languages through my local library. This is another reason that Rocket Languages is AWESOME! Persons with limited financial resources can experience this phenomenal learning language tool. I completed the available course lessons several years ago. However, I continue to log in and learn new things. I do this several ways. I can always review the lessons and take my tests over. I can also read Mauricio's learning tips/tools. I can review my own notes that I took and saved and I can still add new notes. Also, the forum is AWESOME! I use it to learn, to practice writing in Spanish (my chosen language) and I have asked questions with AWESOME results. Rocket Language continues to provide me challenges. This keeps me excited, interested, and learning new Spanish every day. Thank you for making this AWESOME material available to our (still quite free) local library's. YOU ROCK!

I have used Rosetta Stone and while it's great for learning vocabulary, it is not nearly as helpful with grammar and conversation. Rocket Italian is an excellent vehicle to learn common phrases for travel and conservation, as well as important vocabulary and grammar. I am very glad I purchased it.

This is one of the tools that every French learner should have, it has kept me interested to learn it, and I have noticed how well I can keep a conversation and read articles in this language, thanks to that I have more friends who are French speakers. Thanks Rocket Languages and keep improving your tools, I love them!

I would, and have, recommended Rocket French to other students because of its high quality course materials and its convenience. In college I was able to become fluent in Spanish by taking courses and studying abroad, but now that I am in the business world it is much more difficult to do things like that. Rocket French has allowed me to study very good course materials at my convenience. The largest benefit that I've gained from this course is vocabulary. The vocabulary that it teaches is very useful and applicable to real world situations and that so important.

I haven't used my French in too many real world situations as of yet, but I do plan on returning to Europe and when I do so I will be much more prepared because of Rocket French. If you are thinking about purchasing this course, then know that you will get out of it what you put into it, and if you do that you will not be disappointed. Merci beaucoup!

Hi, my name is Jim Rigdon. I'm calling to say I went on a mission trip to Mexico with a group from my Church. We built two dwellings for some local people that lived there, two young couples.

I enjoyed the trip and the work, but the language barrier made it a little awkward. I thought about how nice it would be if I could talk to the people we were helping, even if it was only on a basic conversational level.

After researching different Spanish language courses it seemed that Rocket Spanish was highly recommended. So I bought Rocket Spanish and began listening to it on my hour long drive to school. I listen to my MP3 player whenever I can. After only 5 weeks, I am amazed at how much I have retained. A gentleman I work with spent most of his childhood in Mexico until his family moved to the U.S. He told me I am doing well, and encourages me to continue.

I was surprised at the variety of learning methods available from Rocket Spanish. Due to time limitations, I primarily listen to the audio conversation course, and the 10 bonus lessons. I hope to return to Juárez Mexico next February and be able to converse with the local people and our Mexican co-workers who help us build.

We decided to go with Rocket Languages because it got better reviews than the leading language learning software on the market. Once we saw the price was VERY right, we were sold. I didn't immediately see the family discounts and contacted customer service, who promptly answered all my questions and got everyone on board quickly.

I can't say I'll be learning another language in the near future; I'm still trying to master this one. But if I did, I would absolutely use Rocket Languages again and would definitely recommend it to a friend. In fact, I already do recommend it to everyone who asks of me which program they should use to learn a new language!

I was delighted to received my copy of Rocket Spanish and get started learning a new language. My main reason for wanting to learn Spanish is that my daughter is married to a Nicaraguan and when I visit Nicaragua I want to be able to converse with his family and friends.

My name is Lucas Broadway, I am 22 years old and I reside in Kentucky in the United States. I have worked in a Japanese based automotive industry for over 4 years and it has always been a dream of mine to learn another language, especially Japanese.

Hello, my name is Judy Beerbaum and I am a certified Retirement Coach. I am calling because I'm transitioning into full-time retirement myself, and over the years I've helped hundreds of other near-retirees set new goals and create satisfying retirements by replacing the structure that their work week provided with activities that are new and exciting. I began my own retirement, foreign travel and began living abroad and was interested in things to do myself. I especially wanted to return to France to visit my cousin and her husband who own an Olive Farm just outside Salon-de-Provence. But this time I wanted to participate in the family and neighbors conversations, in French. I also wanted to be able to rent a car, order from the menu and negotiate "gite" accommodations while touring the French countryside, and I wanted to be able to do all of this before this years harvest season. Originally I thought that since I already have German as my second language, all I had to do was get a French dictionary and some workbooks and I could learn on my own. Wrong! I found out very quickly that I did not have the discipline to teach myself and was not confident I was pronouncing the words correctly. Then I found Rocket French. What a difference, and it is so practical. I look forward to every session. The weekly lessons provide the structure I need but still allow me to learn at my own pace without leaving my mountain home to travel 25 miles to the nearest expensive Community College. There are other added pluses. My memory is getting sharper, and I'm starting to view the world from a broader perspective, as I see things according to the French way of doing things. As my confidence builds I just know I will be ready for my road trip this fall, even if that sometimes means knowing when to ask a kind French person for help. I looked all over the Internet for a good course to help me build a strong foundation in the Spanish language. After looking at the free trials and comparing the reviews, I settled on Rocket Spanish. I have to say that the name is appropriate, because the course literally propels you at rocket speeds towards becoming a functional speaker of Spanish.

The audio portions are clear and they are a good speed for the new comer and the texts are fun and entertaining as well. I have seen in several forms where others have said that Rocket Spanish is the best introduction one can have to learning Spanish, and I have to definitely agree... Sin duda!!! (Without a doubt!!!)

My name is Margaret Garland, and after 26 years of teaching English as a second language, I knew what I was looking for when I started searching for a Japanese language course – and Rocket Japanese is it!

The audio lessons are very well done, and user friendly. The newsletters are well designed to help with grammar, sentence structure and cultural tips. Being able to go over and over the conversation is great, especially for someone who is 78 years old.

Why would someone my age want to learn Japanese? Well, I’ll tell you. My son is living in Japan and teaching English to Japanese businessmen. I have been to visit him three times, and after the last visit I decided to make a real effort to learn Japanese. By my next visit I intend to be able to talk with his friends and students in Japanese.
