When you’re travelling it’s useful to know some German hotel vocabulary, especially if you’re staying outside the main cities. After this free audio lesson you'll be able to ask for what you need in German, and find your way around a German hotel. You’ll also be able to share any concerns you have with the hotel staff.
Let’s start with some basics – listen to the German pronunciation and practice the words and phrases aloud. This lesson could make all the difference between a restful night and a not-so-comfortable stay! By the way... most hotels haven’t got a room number 13, because 13 is considered to be an unlucky number in Germany.
