Hi, my name is Steve Grant. I'm calling to leave an audio testimonial for Rocket Italian. I have several good things I would like to say about the program. The first thing is, for the value, for the money you spend I think you get an amazing range of vocabulary and grammar and cultural points, cultural tips to learn from, and if you follow the lessons safely, work diligently, work daily, you stand to learn quite a bit of information. And what I mean by the value of the course is that you could spend $25, $35 dollars for a book and CD, $40 maybe, and it might be ok, but I think the range of material you're going to learn is going to be fairly limited. And for the price you'll pay for Rocket Italian, it's quite a bit of information, it's quite vast, and you'll be fairly knowledgeable about a wide range of topics from Love, to Culture, to Traveling, to visiting the Museum, all kinds of things. And another thing that's extremely helpful is having the online support with Alex and Maria, especially Maria because if you have a vocabulary or grammar question or maybe a usage question you can just shoot her an email and she'll get back to you fairly quickly. I think this is very important because no book, no program can cover every single possible contingency. So I think this is really nice feature of the program. Also, the MP3 format is really excellent because I'm the kind of learner, I need to see it and hear it, and I just load up my MP3 player and you can listen non-stop. I listen when I'm walking to the grocery store, when I'm riding the subway, when I'm jogging, when I'm taking a walk in the evening. Obviously it's very important to get the pronunciation down from Day 1 and how it actually sounds from a native speaker because learning just from a book and paper is OK for grammar and vocabulary but you'll never be exactly sure what the language is supposed to sound like. So I highly, highly highly recommend the program. Another great feature is the extra lessons, the Survival Kit where they go into different topics and give you a wealth of phrases and vocabulary to discuss these various topics. I think that's a very nice feature. I highly recommend the program and thanks a lot for offering it!

I think I must be one of the most recent students in the Rocket Italian program because I just began the course less than 1 week ago. The exciting part is that I've already begun speaking simple phrases in "la bella lingua" For years I've been meaning to learn Italian, but kept putting it off because I thought it would be too hard to learn as an adult, spending hours trying to memorize words and word forms... was I wrong about that.

With the help of my online tutor Maria and Alex I'm finding that I'm able to pick up phrases and pronunciation with only a little bit of concentration and practice. I'm already at the point where I'm impatient to get to the next lesson.

Rocket Italian gave me the confidence and poise to be able to speak Italian fluently. I highly recommend Rocket Italian this guided course can be player over and over again so that if you've missed something you can go back and replay it.

The biggest benefit was that I can play my lessons on my Ipod and listen, learn and go through it at my own pace.

With the Rocket Italian course you'll receive the audio lessons and the written grammar as well. I would highly recommend this to friends of mine, because it is very easy to follow. I've tried a whole bunch of different courses; I think Alex and Maria are great; they speak at a slow enough pace. They make it so that you can repeat it and they make it so that you can definitely understand it.

I was hoping I would gain a total fluency for the language, as well as learning about the culture which is a huge help because we are going to be going to Italy.

Works great, and fun. Only problem is that Hear it Say it stops working after a few lines. Otherwise seems very effective, can work while driving, lunch breaks etc. Before it was always hard to find quiet time to work on languages. Keep working on android!

We've done a lot of research and I was looking for an opportunity to learn a little bit of Italian because we are going to be going to Italy next year, and I've looked at all the very high priced ones, all the way down to the very low cost tutorials on how to just speak the basic, not necessarily completely speak it fluently, but to understand it to the point where we can get around Italy, and understand certain words and certain phrases and things like that and be able to go into a coffee shop or, go into a market and be able to find the restroom or understand certain portions of the language.

We did some research and we started using the free version of the Rocket Italian or I should say the introduction to Rocket Italian and we at first took a couple of weeks to say "well is this what we want?" We also went to a local bookstore and purchased a lesson in Italian that was a very inexpensive lesson, it was $25 or something like that. And you get what you pay for, and it was just one of these things where it ran through all the language and the words and things like that, and really didn't have any kind of flow to it.

So we really couldn't memorize all that data. So we feel that the Rocket Italian program and course is something you can learn, something you can easily remember and catch on because of the way you are distributing the course, by way of Internet, by way of email, by way of the lessons and your hosts are incredible.

My wife is hooked on Rocket Italian, ok, she comes home every day and she goes through the lessons. And it's a great product, great value. Thank you very much.

RL is a far better teacher of how to actually communicate in Italian than Rosetta Stone. RS is great for vocabulary but overall is less practical. I studied on RS for 4 months before going to Italy last spring. This year I'll be better prepared.

My mom and I talked about going to Italy but she thought we would want to take a tour since we don't speak the language. Tours sound horrible to me, I would rather we went on our own. Unfortunately, my mom has passed away, but I still want to go. I have thought for more than a year on trying to learn the language. I read a lot of reviews and Rocket Italian always came out near the top. I also tried several samples of different programs. I liked the way on Rocket Italian that you can see the spelling and practice how to say the words properly. I took Latin in high school and find that it has helped in my recognizing Italian words when I read them. I didn't think I would feel comfortable with Italian so quickly. I also didn't know it would be so fun!

I have used Rosetta Stone and while it's great for learning vocabulary, it is not nearly as helpful with grammar and conversation. Rocket Italian is an excellent vehicle to learn common phrases for travel and conservation, as well as important vocabulary and grammar. I am very glad I purchased it.

I am learning at my own pace. It is easy to follow. It is my first time that I am learning a language online. It helped a lot when i started to watch tv with Italian language. I can understand better several meanings.

My only concern is that I cannot open the flash cards of the games, but the full program is very good.

Very easy to use, every day terms, and there when you are able to do it even if only for five minutes. And checking pronunciation is very simple and useful to know you're on the right track. A very useful tool.

Really enjoying Rocket Language Italian. Still working out how best to structure my learning. There are so many components; revision, tests, audio and play backs, language and culture etc. Has taken a while to work out pathways and how to work between different sections but not complaining. Its really good.

Great for gaining some confidence with spoken Italian at both slow, learning speed, and then the real machine-gun speed that Italians actually speak at. Grammar feeds in fairly painlessly. I also like reading the dialogue as it is spoken.

I am really enjoying my Rocket Italian lessons. I like the changes especially the "reset" buttons which allow you to go back and revise and re do. This helps with remembering words & phrases. I am looking forward to trying out my new skills on my Italian friends.

I just love Rocket Languages! I started off with Rocket Spanish and absolutely loved it! I love that you can learn it at your own pace and the lessons are so relevant to the conversations that would be used while in Spain or Latin America. I have just recently started Rocket Italian and I am finding it equally good. Rocket Languages will definitely be my go-to language learning program.

Hola Amigos, My name is Peggy Wang. I come from China, I bet there are not many Chinese people learning Spanish, because the language system is just so different from ours, that's why a good learning program is the key to success.

Why I decided to learn Spanish? The reason is that I live in New York city and there are just so many Latinos living here. In addition "Me gustaria viajar muchisimo" and one day I'm going to travel to Spanish speaking countries.

So I just thought to myself, well this is a good investment to learn Spanish, then I started to search for the right way to begin with.

I contacted "class offerings"... there are not so many, but they are also expensive, they all cost several hundred dollars for a few sections and they do not offer the test run to see if you like their program or not. Plus you have to commute to attend the classes.

Then I started to search on the internet and finally I chose the Rocket Spanish Program. The good thing about it, "success" is free. You can learn whenever you want, wherever you want and how many times you want to repeat the lessons.

When I started I didn't even have confidence in myself to continue, and just thought why not, it is free. The program they offer is so good that only after six sessions I have already built up my confidence in learning Spanish, and I have already started talking to colleges speaking Spanish like a pro. None of them believe that I've spent so little time learning that.

Once I built up my confidence I decided to continue to learn the language until I had a grasp of it as good as my second language English. Now I have finished the Level one (Premium) course and I cannot stop myself to continue and I'm completing the Level two course and I can already watch some Spanish news and shows and gather the gist of the meanings.

After Level one you can be a good Spanish speaking traveler but after Level two you can sure talk like a pro.

Rocket Spanish it helps you learn fast and effectively, plus Mauricio, Amy and Carmen are just wonderful. All the conversations are so useful, their voices are great, the phrases are so good, that you learn tons of new vocabulary, expressions, grammar along with the conversations.

Once you learn one conversation you can multiply that by tons yourself. So do not hesitate, start now, act "ahora" and benefit "ahora".

I purchased this program about one month ago. I bought this program in hopes of learning some of the basic signs and to learn how to finger spell. I have mastered finger spelling and now I can communicate with any hearing impaired person that I come into contact with.

Currently, I am the General Manager of a Wawa convenience store in Hamilton, New Jersey. I am not sure if you are familiar with what a Wawa is, but I can tell you that we are a convenience store chain that cares dearly about our customers and our associates.

I can now ask my regulars if they "like their coffee today, and how they are doing." Right now I currently have at least five regular customers that are either deaf or mute and communicate fully in American Sign Language to everyone. Also, I have one autistic associate that works for me, that is a great person, but fully communicates in sign language. Now I can communicate with him on a regular basis.

Learning sign language has been a major asset to me and I am currently coaching my management team on how to communicate with the hearing impaired. I sincerely thank you for what your program has to offer, and what it has done for me and my store team, and also I wish that everyone that has the urge to learn picks your program as the one to teach them.

I have been a middle school language arts teacher for 20 years and have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction.

When I decided that I needed to "refresh" my Spanish from twenty years ago, I tried out three different programs, before I finally found Rocket Spanish. It was a wonderful review of beginning Spanish, yet it progressed at a rate which made my listening and speaking skills increase quickly. I transferred all the lesson files to my MP3 player, plugged an adapter into my car radio and listened everyday on my way to and from school - I was hooked.

I played the lessons on my computer when I was at home, and took the quizzes which came regularly from the Rocket Spanish e-mail letters. When I finished all the Beginners lessons, I couldn't wait to go on to the advanced course. The organization of the lessons makes it easy for students who are interested in reviewing or skipping specific conversational settings. Vocabulary is always presented as part of a spoken phrase which allows the learner to make it immediately relevant. The phrases are repeated often enough that students who are using the files don't have to worry about missing a phrase and then having to rewind to hear it again.

I'm a visual learner, and thought I would often have to use the printed out lessons for reinforcement, but the audio tapes were definitely adequate. The printed out lessons did help to extend my vocabulary even more with lists of important words.

Equally important, throughout all the lessons, Mauricio continually encouraged me as the student to listen, speak, listen, speak! I didn't have to worry about sounding "loco".

I am truly enjoying Advanced Rocket Spanish and will use it when I go with my students on a mission trip to Nicaragua in Spring.
