It's great having someone who is REALLY from Japan to teach me the lessons. It helps extravagantly with punctuation, and I know that all the culture is up to date. Not only that, but the forum allows me to ask any questions that I may have about the language.

Hi, Learning from Rocket Japanese is easy and fast and one gets to know the real feel also because of the conversations. However, as you can understand that any study without aim is worthless. I would suggest that you add more study material which is matchable to the quality of questions to the JLPT levels. This will convince more and more users to join your course and also give a benchmark for them to rate them against a real life test or hurdle.

I really like Rocket Japanese! The lessons are fun and you can listen to them over and over. I have printed many of them out so I can study them when I'm not at my computer. I have also memorized a lot of the conversations.

Rocket Languages has put a lot of work into their website. They have a lot of tools to help you monitor your progress. The lesson-rating system gives you a good overview, there are lots of tests to evaluate how well you know the lessons, there are motivational articles and forums. And it's available wherever you are!

The audio tracks are pretty decent. I take on the road with me all the time. When I get the chance to sit in front of my computer, I log on and find the course material pretty easy to finish. I personally like the culture sections. Even with all the things I look up about my country I'm studying, they seem to be about something new to me. I have been studying Japanese for five years now and I see myself on Rocket Languages for a few more years.

I've been using Rocket Japanese for a couple of years, and I honestly never thought I'd be able to speak as much Japanese as I can now- let alone any!

Each lesson is fun and the cast of different instructors across the courses make it enjoyable to learn the language, which is a great help especially if you have a busy lifestyle. It's great how the interactive audio courses put what you're learning into context, and then the language & culture lessons go into more detail on what you've learnt from those lessons, as it means you're revisiting what you've learnt before to keep it in your memory.

The culture lessons are a big bonus with Rocket Languages, because it means you're learning about the culture and the way of life in the country that you're learning the language of, which helps to understand some of the countries customs, which in Japan's case can be quite 'different' sometimes!

Hi, First of all I would like to thanks Rocket Japanese for fulfilling my childhood wish of learning Japanese language. It's my childhood wish and today I have somewhat satisfied by learning free trial package. Really, its awesome and amazing site to learn Japanese Language accurately and too with diff. modern technique. It's really superb. Kudos for Rocket Japanese Learning site.

Need some more practice and review material. Full Audio parts seem lengthy. Like your course. I would like to memorize by doing practice whatever I learn from the course so need translation practices both way

I find that the lessons on Rocket Japanese are extremely practical and cover topics that one is likely to encounter in real live situations. Case in point, I just one week ago arrived in Japan for a visit. As usual, the friendly Customs Officer asked me if I could speak Japanese. My response in the past has been that I do not and that usually means I walk straight through Customs. This time I decided to say I speak a little. As anticipated, this resulted in me being "tested" to see just how much I could and couldn't speak. To my surprise I was able to get through a five minute conversation with the Customs Officer. I'll concede that I've been brushing on Japanese up in recent times but didn't expect this result. The thing I like about Rocket Japanese is the clear enunciation of the teachers. In my view this is absolutely critical when one is trying to learn a language. Without that good foundation I think it is extremely difficult to pick up the spoken word. In turn, if you can't hear the language then you have no hope of being able to respond to any question. I have now been in Japan for a couple of weeks and continue to surprise myself in places like shops and on public transport. Even the writing which can be challenging, especially Kanji, I have found I've got a handle on because of the completeness of the lessons on Rocket Japanese. It really is a thorough coverage of all the aspects of learning a language from reading and writing to listening and speaking. whenever the subject of learning a language comes up with any of my friends I have no hesitation in recommending Rocket Languages. And with the latest iPad application that is now available it really is easy to learn on the go. I really love it. Keep up the great work.

This is a message from a (very!) satisfied Rocket French customer.

My dilemma revealed itself in early January, as the date was set for early that following July, when our campus would welcome 300 conventioneers, among whom would be about 20 from Quebec, Canada, alumni of our course work who speak primarily in French. Over a number of years, these Quebecois had taken their courses in French from our institute in satellite classes away from the main campus here in Texas.

But this year we were honoring the pioneers among them who had kept French-speaking student numbers strong and growing, over the years.

I had studied in a one-year course for foreign students years ago. With no previous studies in French, I went in 1959-60 as a free student, with no affiliations, to the University of Bordeaux, Faculty of Letters, and had success from this immersion style of learning French. But, my level of fluency had disappeared over the years. Knowing that I could revive some of my comfort in speaking French, I went online and subscribed to Rocket French that arrived faithfully each week from January 20th through June 2nd of this year and I had hopes that that would give me ample time to get comfortable with that beautiful language once again.

My initial plan was to awaken one-hour early each morning to study the given lessons; I started off strong, but found that I only worked with the lessons an average of two times a week. Yet, that proved to be enough to get my tongue back into the groove of speaking French. Surprisingly, the Rocket French lessons validated that I remembered most of the vocabulary. The biggest help to me was in listening and speaking, which became easier as my confidence returned with each passing week.

By the end of the lessons, I was ready for the convention! To my amazement, I worked overtime translating for our staff at the times they made various presentations to our very special French-Canadian guests; during informal times outside of structured hours when I could visit and chat with all of these delightful folks; and during social times when I found every excuse to be with them.

At the end of our six convention days together, three of the group stayed on for an intensive six health & wellness retreat, where three to four times each day I would join them for the table discussion segments built in to their learning time. I actually lost my voice due to speaking so much and so often, but the end result was that the total experience for the French-speakers and certainly for me, was enhanced by the language we shared.

I would not have had the success that I did were it not for having taken the course work offered by Rocket French! My writing and speaking skills were renewed and polished, and reading and writing now comes more easily to me, too.

It was a real advantage to me, now at the age of 67, to have had a previous foundation in the French language, but without the thorough review I experienced with the Rocket French lessons, I might never have let on that I knew French, at all.

I've archived all of the lessons to review at any time, certainly before heading to Quebec at the invitation of these enthusiastic students of all ages! And, if I plan things right, I may just take a return trip to France one day, with a special visit to relive my own early student days in Bordeaux. Thanks to Rocket French, I can do it all!

I am having a great time with your course! Thank you so much for designing a program that forces one to think in Spanish and not just try to memorize words and/or phrases. I especially like how you have brought out lessons in grammar in a way that is usable immediately and not overwhelming. I never thought I would buy one but I'm looking at MP3 players just so I can have the audios with me when I'm out and I carry printouts with me to look over whenever I can.

This time next month I will be in Guatemala. I leave on the third. I'm anxious to speak with my friends there. It will be nice if we can speak more Spanish instead of "Spanglish"!

Thank you for your easy to learn format to pick up Spanish faster. I work with children and I do get some that come into my class only speaking Spanish with little or no understanding of English. I have checked out other Spanish teaching programs that don't break it down to understand as well as your program does!

My husband Tom and I both took Spanish in high school, but as we are both sixty, that was many years ago.

Five years ago, we started traveling to Lake Atitlan in Guatemala where English is not spoken very much. At first we were extremely limited in our communications. Then we started studying Rocket Spanish (we're on Level Two) and have now reached a place where we can have conversations in Spanish and understand and read the language as well. Being able to listen over and over again to Spanish speakers has been invaluable in allowing us to understand what is being said.

Hello, my name is Veronica James and this is my testimonial. I did purchase Rocket French last fall and it was something I did as I was recovering from an injury. I had broken my ankle and had surgery. I was house-bound for about five months, so I decided to bone up on my French.

Works great, and fun. Only problem is that Hear it Say it stops working after a few lines. Otherwise seems very effective, can work while driving, lunch breaks etc. Before it was always hard to find quiet time to work on languages. Keep working on android!

Hello Rocket Spanish. My name is Stephanie Miller and I just wanted to take a few minutes and tell you how much I've been enjoying the program. I've been using Rocket Spanish lessons for little over a month now and I'm really impressed by them. Not only does the style of teaching makes sense, but it's easy to follow and its actually pretty fun.

I've always wanted to learn Spanish; actually for a few years now I've been working on it. I've purchased and rented various programs to get started. I've spent hours and hours searching for online Spanish tutorials. I've even found some free websites that had some free videos and lessons to watch and some games to play, but they can only take you so far, and without the context and hearing it in the conversation it's hard to grasp. You know, someone can tell you something is the way it is over and over but until you actually apply the rule in practice you won't really get it, and that's what's so great about Rocket Spanish.

It's full of practical applications and ways to practice conversational Spanish. And in addition to that, it's convenient to use, portable, accessible from any PC. I can listen to it in my car, login and listen at work, or at home.

My name is Phyllis Bernius and I'm 66 years old. Working with our Spanish Church they call me Felisa, here in Amarillo, TX. I can see why it is important that I quickly learn to speak, write, and understand the Spanish language. I ordered the Rocket Spanish Program because an Internet review site said it was the best program.

I like the style and way the lessons are presented, such as seeing the lesson in print and then listening to the audio to check the pronunciation and accent of the words. By using my Spanish with the Hispanic people we are able to understand each other more each time.

Several years ago I visited Ecuador. It was frustrating not to be able to speak with them in their language. I hope soon to be able to go to Guatemala, (my Spanish Pastor and family are from Guatemala) and I would like to be able to communicate with them and their family and friends while I'm there in their own language of Spanish. Mauricio, your course is fantastic! I was not a Spanish speaker at all (despite living for years in Houston, Texas where Spanish is pretty commonly spoken). I downloaded your course on the Internet (it was recommended by an Internet review site) and put the lessons on my iPod. For about two months, I listened to the language lessons while I drove and I played the vocabulary game on my computer.

It was tons of fun and I learned enough Spanish to easily get me through a week's vacation in Saltillo and Real de Catorce, Mexico.

The lessons were perfect. On so many occasions, I would find myself in a situation and I was living out the contents of one of your lessons. I even negotiated the price of an antique painting in Saltillo. "No es barato, es muy caro" (sorry if I butchered the spelling, I learned by listening), saved me $25, which put me part of the way towards recouping the cost of the lessons!

Your classes gave me the fluency and confidence to drive to Mexico and negotiate hotel reservations, restaurants, driving directions, and even some limited social situations. I cannot recommend the course more highly and I am now listening to all the lessons again to pick up smaller things that I didn't focus on my first time through.

My favorite thing about Rocket Spanish, it's been that it teaches you how to listen better, there is a lot of Spanish classes that teach you how to speak words, but they don't put them together the same way that the Rocket Spanish does. They don't teach you how to listen so that as you are learning you can pick out the words that you already understand, and make sense of the sentences. I've found that I have been able to understand and comprehend a lot more than I have with other lessons that I've had elsewhere. Thank you very much.

We love Rocket Sign Language. My granddaughter and I use it a lot. It's pretty amazing to see a six year-old who can pick Sign Language up, we could not do that with other programs, so it was nice to see she could pick it up so easily. This is the best that there is. Thank you.

Just to put things into context, I completed Rosetta Stone a few years ago and at the end of it, I knew a lot of nouns, phrases, and partial sentences, but couldn't string together a handful of sentences together into any kind of meaningful conversation. Suffice it to say, as a cinephile and avid traveler, I had aspired to a proficiency level somewhat higher than a Francophone toddler.

Now that I've almost completed Premium Level (already have Premium Plus and Platinum on tap), I'm definitely picking up a lot more nuances in film dialogues, and I am also more confident about my pronunciation. The Rocket Reviews are really useful in getting you to think about the different variations and syntaxes that you can apply to the lesson you've just completed.

The Language and Culture modules have a lot of substance to them, and hopefully, they can be deeper integrated into the Interactive Audio modules. As a specific example, the 'Putting Things Together' lessons were exactly what I was looking for in terms of having the facility/vernacular to string together phrases into a coherent sentence without guessing the applicable joinders (like "by the way", or "nevermind") by translating English terms word for word and hope that they use a similar expression in French.
