Learn Portuguese Online With Rocket Portuguese

We decided to go with Rocket Languages because it got better reviews than the leading language learning software on the market. Once we saw the price was VERY right, we were sold. I didn't immediately see the family discounts and contacted customer service, who promptly answered all my questions and got everyone on board quickly.

I can't say I'll be learning another language in the near future; I'm still trying to master this one. But if I did, I would absolutely use Rocket Languages again and would definitely recommend it to a friend. In fact, I already do recommend it to everyone who asks of me which program they should use to learn a new language!

I just started using Rocket Language and I like it so far. I knew some Portuguese before beginning but have noticed so far that Rocket Language has been helpful with putting phrases together. I am looking forward to getting more in detail with the language and learning things I don't know in part 2 of the lessons.

I have just completed the trial and, although it is a shame that more advanced Portuguese lessons will not be available any time soon (if at all), I am going to buy the full access anyway. It seems good value for money, but I think I will finish the full course content quite quickly and probably still not be that fluent.

The Portuguese language is a romance language with the similarity of Italian and Spanish. Reading and hearing is an important factor to learn the language. I am always reading and hearing, and speaking the Portuguese language through my tongue in order to practice my tongue in pronunciation with hardship.

I've stop and started Rocket French several times but now since I've downloaded audio lessons to my MP3 it'll be easier to start over again and keep going since MP3 can go with me anywhere.

I'm not sure what hidden method you've used for that powerful touch on my memory, but it worked so well that I've learned so much more in the past two weeks with your free lessons than what my college professor taught me for two months (I quit the semester early because it was boring and I had difficulty keeping up with her pace and couldn't get any help in class).

In my case, I was hooked with your learning method from the free lessons I got off the website, however I couldn't yet afford $99 (even though I think it's worth at least $500) so I was bummed out when the free lessons ended. However you've started to offer me yet another free lesson and I was so impressed with it like other lessons before. So I'm now saving up the money, and hopefully by next month I will be able to purchase the download version and continue with what I like.

In writing this long email, I just want you to know what an awesome product this is. For me it's ranked number 1 out there because your method is just beyond belief, it got me memorize the words for so long, and your pronunciation were so clear and a piece of cake to follow. Alright, so I have been using Rocket Chinese for about a year now. I was attracted mostly by the price and the amount of features involved. I was not about the drop hundreds of dollars on Rosetta's Stone or Pimsleur, but I did want quality learning. There are hundreds of ways to learn Mandarin for free on the internet. I realize that. But I needed a place that could provide grammatical support, and have comprehensive lessons that taught a higher level of understanding to the language. Here is what I got:
-Good entertaining lessons
-Motivation
-An overall look at the language
-Chinese culture
And here are the things that I have noticed need improvement
-Despite the recent edits to the "Hear it, Speak it" I definitely think that it can be fixed up even more
-The point system can be more comprehensive for example someone that practices every day, reviewing old lessons will never get the same credit as someone who just puts random answers for quizzes, answers BS for blog posts. I know the end goal is to learn the language and these people wont be doing that but you get the idea
-Chinese writing section I think could definitely use some improvements, and a way of testing yourself to learn the characters.
-More video involvement and multimedia. If you want to be competitive with even the free services out there on the internet there needs to be a greater commitment to trying new things with video, graphics, games and whatnot

And that's pretty much it. I'm going to China soon, and I feel that while I benefited from having this course, that it definitely has a lot of room for improvement, which I hope you will consider.

We love Rocket Sign Language. My granddaughter and I use it a lot. It's pretty amazing to see a six year-old who can pick Sign Language up, we could not do that with other programs, so it was nice to see she could pick it up so easily. This is the best that there is. Thank you.

Very challenging course, great tools to learn with and I plan on taking more until the end. Great to have a course you can do at your own pace. Start with a spark until it turns into white heat to finish.

Mauricio, your course is fantastic! I was not a Spanish speaker at all (despite living for years in Houston, Texas where Spanish is pretty commonly spoken). I downloaded your course on the Internet (it was recommended by an Internet review site) and put the lessons on my iPod. For about two months, I listened to the language lessons while I drove and I played the vocabulary game on my computer.

It was tons of fun and I learned enough Spanish to easily get me through a week's vacation in Saltillo and Real de Catorce, Mexico.

The lessons were perfect. On so many occasions, I would find myself in a situation and I was living out the contents of one of your lessons. I even negotiated the price of an antique painting in Saltillo. "No es barato, es muy caro" (sorry if I butchered the spelling, I learned by listening), saved me $25, which put me part of the way towards recouping the cost of the lessons!

Your classes gave me the fluency and confidence to drive to Mexico and negotiate hotel reservations, restaurants, driving directions, and even some limited social situations. I cannot recommend the course more highly and I am now listening to all the lessons again to pick up smaller things that I didn't focus on my first time through.

This photo is of me on my balcony in Real de Catorce, a partially inhabited ghost town high up in the Sierra Madres. We had a blast and Rocket Spanish was a big part of making our vacation a huge success.

The program has great flexibility that I can listen at my computer and work through games or flashcards as well as download the lessons to take them on the go! The program is very motivational which keeps me wanting to come back and learn more.

I purchased Rocket Hindi and have found it to be an amazing language-learning experience. It is a very fun and engaging way to learn a language, and the price is much more reasonable than competitors. If you want to learn a language, Rocket Languages is the best choice the whole way around!

I would recommend Rocket French to others. The reason I would is that it seems to be very easy for me to go through the courses and also the special email sections that I received for when you are traveling and what phrases to use.

The biggest benefit I gained from my Rocket French course was that I was planning a trip to France, which I did go on and just returned.

I really love that I can record myself and play it back with the native speaker so I can hear and see if I am saying it like a native Korean. I have been studying on my own and find that I can read and write it really well but when it comes to understanding it being spoke I am lacking. I really want to watch a Korean drama without subtitles and I believe Rocket Korean gives me the tools to get there.

I have been using the Rocket Spanish courses for a while now, and am just completing the second course (Rocket Spanish Premium Plus). My Spanish has progressed from being a total newbie, to being to converse freely with my friends and neighbors and understand (mostly) movies and TV shows on my local Spanish speaking channels.

The first course (Rocket Spanish Premium) is quite a good basic introduction, and through the use of short conversations and language and culture lessons teaches the basics of conversational Spanish and grammar in an easy to follow and fun format. I was actually rather surprised to learn how much I was learning without actually realizing it at the time. There are also a number of other tools available, games, reviews and now the new features of Rocket Record which really tend to speed along the learning process.

Now that I have almost completed the second course, I find that I really like this portion better. The stories and conversations between Mauricio, Amy and Carmen are entertaining, informative and funny. Even my wife (who is not taking the course) stops and laughs about the adventures of Mauricio. I am taking much more time with this second course, as I find that there is much more there to learn, and now that my Spanish has vastly improved I find many more little sayings, conversational tidbits, and idioms throughout each lesson that can be learned. I would highly recommend that anyone who has taken the Premium course to move on to the Premium Plus also.

Platinum is next for me, and peeking ahead a bit it looks to be even more interesting and informative, and I firmly believe that my Spanish will be further along than I could ever have dreamed upon my completion.

Were it only the three courses it would be WELL worth the low price, especially when compared to the other offerings out there. In addition to the courses, the pdf "books" which are included are invaluable. The "survival kits" included cover just about every area that I could possibly use, and can be printed out and put in a binder, or (like me) sent to your tablet. My course included a wonderful vocabulary game that I find improved my learning nearly 100 percent, and there are many other tools in the Rocket Spanish members area available to all students.

It probably seems that this is an advertisement for the courses, but I am just a very happy student who feels that he has gotten much more than what I expected in this course.

I think the thing about it is I enjoy the conversation. Amy does a great job narrating - I'm very much in the beginning stages of it - she really does a good job of the narration. Mauricio does a great job of the Spanish piece of it. I just am really, really learning and enjoying it. It's a little slow for me; some things I seem to pick up quicker than others. I make myself flashcards to continue to go over the lessons. Enjoy the games. I just can't say enough about how much I'm learning and how much I'm really enjoying the whole Rocket Spanish program.

I like the phrase master game, because it has made it easier to pick out words from a sentence. Whereas before, they all just blurred together. This has made it easier to speak with friends, and use context clues in cases where I don't understand the full sentence.

I have so many things to say about Rocket Chinese I don't know where to start. How about the beginning...

I have been interested in learning Chinese for a year now. I have five programs, three I obtained for free and two I paid for. Of the three I found for free, one came from my local library, I didn't feel bad about making a copy because they are public domain, two I downloaded from the Internet and there was no charge.

They are all good programs, I know because I am very critical and skeptical due to the numbers of programs available, I felt I could go broke trying to find a good teaching program for learning Chinese. Of the two programs that I bought one was from a University and one is the Rocket Chinese language course.

The one from the University is good, but I expected much more form a University language course and it is no where near as comprehensive as Rocket Chinese, but to keep things honest, I paid less for the University course.

I feel fortunate to have found Rocket Chinese and I bought the course after being my usual skeptical critical self, and partaking in the Rocket Chinese free sample lessons. After the sample lessons I was hooked and I am still. The greatest benefit for me was the grammar part, because in the other lessons if the person I was trying to communicate with did not follow the sentence structure of the course material, I was totally lost. With Rocket Chinese I learned how the sentence were structured so I could then structure my own sentences, wow what a difference, oh yes, I still have a ways to go, but I am no longer a parrot, I'm a student. For the first time I feel like I can go to class, My computer that is, study and then go out into the world and apply what I have learned.

So what will you get out of the Rocket Chinese learning package, I don't know that's up to you. What I want to tell you is, learn from the year I spent searching for a complete learning course that will give you a fun exciting way to learn Chinese in a class room like setting and then start speaking Chinese right away and increase you knowledge at your own pace. You will learn the words, the sentence structure, the characters, and the culture of China so you will understand why you are saying the words you are saying.

I do not think you could possibility find a better choice for learning Chinese and you will not waste your time or money searching for what you want, Rocket Chinese has it all.

Rocket Korean is the best learning software for beginners interested in learning the Korean language. The lessons are very thorough on pronunciation and the games help a lot for memorizing. I really liked how there are lessons for learning culture to help understand the language more effectively.

This is one of the best French programs I have come across and it won't break your bank to buy. It is definitely geared towards adults who seriously want to learn and understand a new language, which is a refreshing change for me over the unstructured, cartoonish language programs that seem to be everywhere.

This is a message from a (very!) satisfied Rocket French customer.

My dilemma revealed itself in early January, as the date was set for early that following July, when our campus would welcome 300 conventioneers, among whom would be about 20 from Quebec, Canada, alumni of our course work who speak primarily in French. Over a number of years, these Quebecois had taken their courses in French from our institute in satellite classes away from the main campus here in Texas.

But this year we were honoring the pioneers among them who had kept French-speaking student numbers strong and growing, over the years.

I had studied in a one-year course for foreign students years ago. With no previous studies in French, I went in 1959-60 as a free student, with no affiliations, to the University of Bordeaux, Faculty of Letters, and had success from this immersion style of learning French. But, my level of fluency had disappeared over the years. Knowing that I could revive some of my comfort in speaking French, I went online and subscribed to Rocket French that arrived faithfully each week from January 20th through June 2nd of this year and I had hopes that that would give me ample time to get comfortable with that beautiful language once again.

My initial plan was to awaken one-hour early each morning to study the given lessons; I started off strong, but found that I only worked with the lessons an average of two times a week. Yet, that proved to be enough to get my tongue back into the groove of speaking French. Surprisingly, the Rocket French lessons validated that I remembered most of the vocabulary. The biggest help to me was in listening and speaking, which became easier as my confidence returned with each passing week.

By the end of the lessons, I was ready for the convention! To my amazement, I worked overtime translating for our staff at the times they made various presentations to our very special French-Canadian guests; during informal times outside of structured hours when I could visit and chat with all of these delightful folks; and during social times when I found every excuse to be with them.

At the end of our six convention days together, three of the group stayed on for an intensive six health & wellness retreat, where three to four times each day I would join them for the table discussion segments built in to their learning time. I actually lost my voice due to speaking so much and so often, but the end result was that the total experience for the French-speakers and certainly for me, was enhanced by the language we shared.

I would not have had the success that I did were it not for having taken the course work offered by Rocket French! My writing and speaking skills were renewed and polished, and reading and writing now comes more easily to me, too.

It was a real advantage to me, now at the age of 67, to have had a previous foundation in the French language, but without the thorough review I experienced with the Rocket French lessons, I might never have let on that I knew French, at all.

I've archived all of the lessons to review at any time, certainly before heading to Quebec at the invitation of these enthusiastic students of all ages! And, if I plan things right, I may just take a return trip to France one day, with a special visit to relive my own early student days in Bordeaux. Thanks to Rocket French, I can do it all!

I would definitely recommend Rocket Spanish to anyone who wants to learn Spanish in easy and quick way. I started to learn Spanish three times in various course-classes but it did not work, I usually did not have time to attend them regularly. Once I bought the Rocket Spanish course it was up to me to decide when and where I want to study. The biggest advantage for me is possibility to listen to courses on my way to work, this way I have two hours everyday to improve my Spanish and you can listen to it over and over again until you master it perfectly.

This course helped me a lot to understand my Spanish co-workers in my job - I am able to talk about our families, what are their hobbies and more, small talk with them is no problem for me anymore. And now I would definitely survive in a Spanish speaking country with my Spanish where I plan to travel.

I am having a great time with your course! Thank you so much for designing a program that forces one to think in Spanish and not just try to memorize words and/or phrases. I especially like how you have brought out lessons in grammar in a way that is usable immediately and not overwhelming. I never thought I would buy one but I'm looking at MP3 players just so I can have the audios with me when I'm out and I carry printouts with me to look over whenever I can.

Hi, I'm Monika Doyle, 72 years old. The picture shows me and our youngest grandson. In the past I took two junior college classes for Spanish and developed a love for this language, but life took its own turns and I no longer had time to go to classes. Finally it occurred to me that I have a choice, I don't have to take another class and succumb to its rough schedule.

I can go on studying the language on the Internet right at home and at my own pace. After comparing other courses offered on the Internet I decided to try Rocket Spanish. And boy am I glad I did! I like the personal way that everything is presented. From the very beginning I felt like somebody takes my hand and guides me along. I love the mixture of written and heard conversations, I also like the way that there are so many English explanations, this helps cover the material much quicker than if everything was presented in Spanish.

And of course I do like the games where you pick up the vocabulary and the verbs. Deductively the course is very well thought of. Conversations are first and respective grammar follows.
