I like the way you have to talk. I have been trying to learn spanish fore a few years now, and I can understand a lot.
But when it comes to talking i got stuck. Now after almost finishing the first module I see that I can answer the questions in the lessons not only repeating, but building new sentences with other words. I am confident that I will learn to speak.

The reinforcement of the Hear it, Say It, Write it and Know it activities. The flash cards - and the ability to customize your flashcards. Learning phrases as opposed to just vocabulary The point, progress and streak information. The Rocket Fuel emails are very helpful. Cons: I could locate only one pronunciation lesson. It would be help to have more. (Note: that lessons indicates that there is further help included in lesson 3.6, but that doesn't appear to be a pronunciation lesson.) Some of the audio, done by the native speaker, is unclear. Either the first portion of the audio is cut short, or there is lack of clarity in the audio. Because of the clarity issues of the audio, I become quickly frustrated. I've verified that the issue is with the audio itself by trying a headset and bluetooth speakers, comparing them with other audios. Unfortunatly, this single issue is my reason for cancellation. :(

The beginner's course is good. The intermediate course is ok; but, not as good as the beginner's course. The Platinum (advanced course) is poorly done. In the Platinum course, the presentation is sloppy and there is very little interaction or practice time.

I would like to learn Korean on my different devices, Mac, iPad and MS Surface, but I have no clue, how the program remembers how far I had already advanced on one device, when I continue with another. There is apparently no way to log in with my ID and Password, so that the program knows who I am. This feature probably exist, but it is difficult to find out where and how.
Note from Rocket Languages: Hi Jac, thanks for your feedback. Someone of our customer support team has reached out to you to solve this issue. All the best with your Korean learning! Your Rocket Languages Team

On the plus side:
• I like the way grammatical rules are discussed in understandable, laymans’ terms • It’s easy to learn/revise words and phrases • It’s easy to develop your listening skills to understand what people are saying and its easy to develop skills in identifying what to say But there is room for improvement: • Speech recognition needs improvement o Gives some poor pronunciation 100%, but doesn’t recognise closer attempts o When sentences are long it often cuts you off o Often (every session) crashes for no reason and you have to log in again • Its easy to put all your effort into reading and writing – rather than developing listening and speaking skills

Mauricio tiene una excelente prononciacion. El habla suficiente despacio para bien asimilar las palabras y frases...Pero el acento de Amy es muy americana y marcada...Me imagino muy amigable, pero a la vez, tambien hay personas en su alrededor que hablan perfectamente su idioma.
En las lecciones 1,5 etc....hay varias faltas....ei Dr en soya ¿¿¿¿ Tambien en el sistema de audio, hay dificultades pues una vez que se registra el audio salen mal las frases siguientes... Suerte

The review games are an awesome idea. The don't have the structure they need to help with the learning process. I would prefer the lessons to include more vocab and less history. I know the history is important but the language learning is what I'm here for.

I like the format and emphasis on spoken language in the Rocket languages online courses. However, I was disappointed in Rocket Spanish because it is totally geared towards younger travellers going to South America, whereas I am an older person spending a few weeks in Spain. There was very little clear advice as to differences in pronunciation, grammar or vocabulary for the language as spoken in Spain - just occasional references. There were no systematic examples of polite conversation with an older person such as a hostess or landlady. I spent a lot of time trying to work out the polite forms of the questions and answers for the ones included in the lessons but had no way of checking whether my attempts were correct. There was no list of days of the week or months of the year which I got from a dictionary but it would have been good to have them included in more of the conversations - they're pretty basic.

Good for those who like to control the content of their learning rather than going in an order dictated to them. I like the email reminders to encourage return to learning. Clicking on phrases to hear the pronunciation is also very helpful, as is playing the games to test knowledge.

I experienced the free trial of American Sign Language and was disappointed. Almost half of every video available would not work, despite reloading the page or backing up and proceeding forward to the pain I had not seen before – but nothing worked. As a result, I was unable to take advantage of a significant portion of the testing. In relation to the testing, I did not see any attempts to help the student realize their error in signing or recommend A reminder when a test question was wrong. I looked at the subject matter and chapters for all the first course for ASL and felt that The price was way too high for what little was being covered relative to the price.
I sincerely hope that these matters anymore are reviewed, reevaluated, expanded and corrected. Thank you, Lynn Simoneau
