Find out what actual users have to say about our courses through their Rocket Languages reviews.
I have only just started the course which is fine so far. My criticism would be that it does not reflect the way people talk in France. No one has ever said salut to me and the standard greeting is bonjour
The accent of the french canadian is not correct and there are mulitple mistakes
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi Margaret, we appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear that you experienced issues with the French Canadian accent while using our Rocket French program. We have passed your feedback on to our Rocket French team, who will carefully review the relevant lessons and make any necessary changes. We wish you all the best with your French language learning!
At the begining i was impressed by the course, especially in the "intercative audio lessons" but in my opinion the grammar section "language and cultural lesson" it is a mess, sometimes very complicated without a clear path. It is weird and does not make really sense, there are not enough explanation concerning the rules and new words.
About the writing section i can say it is ok.
It feel like the chinese course is a
You have made a wonderful site, well done. The only downside is that it's too expensive (I believe).
It is difficult to begin--there is no easy way to start learning right off the bat, one has to search for the book/lessons. Learning would be easier if you could click a button to take you to a lesson (the most recent), with links to all of the information you need to continue on. This way you can just click start and get back to learning.
I like the interaction in the 'Play it' section but there are problems;
1. The programme frequently states that it has not heard my reply - despite that when I press playback my reply is very clearly there - this is very frustrating and time consuming.
2. The programme makes no allowance for a beginner taking time making a reply which inevitably takes a lot longer than a fluent speaker would take - this again is very frustrating and prevents making best use of the programme.
The software is pretty good so far. Eventually, more interactive speaking via unexpected questions or commentary to respond to as well as slang would be useful. Entire, paragraphs of speech (some of which I assume will come in more advanced lessons) to have to parse and then respond to in a novel way it seems would be effective.
Also, since language seems to be acquired more effectively through speaking, a way of separating pure speaking instances from reading instances of the same words and phrases, would be useful. Developing learning which does not rely on picturing words in the mind first when they are spoken to you, but a purely separate verbal memory would seem to be useful.
The drilling of the material in various forms is effective. The repetition that comes from it is needed; I know by other experience.
Again so far so good!
What I like about this course is the great emphasis given to pronounciation, since it is so difficult to speak french. But Paul greatly annoys me in those introduction audios to each lesson, because he talks too much...!! He's such a time consumer... I tend to keep jumping many "ten seconds" to dig into the proper french..
Guys, Rocket Language found a great platform to learn Hindi. I learnt like a baby, very easy and simple way they have to teach their students. Rocket language not only focusing on any one, it focuses reading & writing including speaking. The most important thing would like to share with you is listening, listening is a very grabbing tool for learning any language. To me, it is my ambition to learn Hindi specially writing skills as it is so complex but interesting.
I would appreciate and recommend Rocket Language to learn Hindi and/or any other language.
Good Luck everyone.

Unfortunately, this software does not allow me to become fluent, as this only makes you an "intermediate" speaker with a premium level of 1 compared to others who have 3. The software for Arabic really needs some more information on writing the language, as it is by far the hardest lessons to learn. I have studied it for hours and still, I do not understand one bit the Arabic alphabet and how to write in Arabic. Other than that this is this software is above average that allows you to learn at your own pace. I also enjoy that I can use this software forever for only %150.
