Rocket Japanese — Quezon City , Philippines
I decided to try Rocket Japanese because I wanted to learn some Japanese before a trip to Tokyo .I just returned, and the Japanese I learned with Rocket Japanese was not only extremely helpful, i want to learn more.

The overriding problem with Rocket Languages is the faulty audio system. I own a MacBook Air 2013 computer for which the audio is excellent for all programs except this one.
Leaderboard and badges contribute to a more positive learning experience. Your program coordinates well with Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur. Each of the three offers something special. Rosetta Stone covers grammar in an incremental, methodical manner - offering extremely valuable practice exercises on a whole host of subject matter and syntactical patterns. Rocket Language is a good follow-on to Rosetta Stone and Pimsluer and offers effective reinforcement of both types of learning. For some languages, Rocket Language sentences are overly complex if introduced too soon. They are challenging to master.
Rocket French — Canada
Love it. I've been working with Rocket French for nearly five years. Many would be proficient with French by now, but language study for me is difficult. Along the way, I travelled to France two times and managed adequately; I could generally make my wishes known in French. One benefit of studying French has been to learn more about my native language, English. It's amazing what I've learned about English, especially regarding vocabulary, and sometimes even grammar.
Although I'm very satisfied with RF, I scored "buying again" as a one-star because learning one language is all I can manage.
Rocket Japanese — Germany
I am enjoying the lessons so far but is a bit difficult to understand why the same word has different translations. Specifically "Hajime mashite". It is a bit off-putting. The rating on customer service can be ignored, I have not had the need to contact them. I am happy with the price but mainly because I got it at a 60% discount. Not sure I would have bought it otherwise. I also wish that there was a notification in the app that the voice recognition is much better on PC. I found that on the app it didn't recognize a difference with me ending in "masu" or "mashita" even though it wanted the latter.
So far so good! I feel as if I'm back in school learning espanol! I cannot wait to try and speak to my new Costa Rican friends!! If I wasn't already excited, now I'm feeling a rad bit for confident with some new Spanish vocabulary!!

Rocket Italian — Canada
1) Great Customer Service: after completing my first lesson, the sound stop! No more sound. It was not my computer because I had sound on everything else than Rocket Italian. I tried the chat and a very nice lady (Marie) helped me. She found the problem very quickly. In no time, I was back to my lessons.
2) Very effective method to learn a foreign language (at least for me!) I love the progression. 3) I find it very useful being able to record my phrase and listen to it after: it helps me improve my accent. 4) Only negative point so far: tooooooooo much English speaking by the guy at the beginning of every lesson. More Italian please! 5) It would help having many different persons talking Italian instead of only two persons. This would be more representative of the real life. Bottom line: I think that I will be able to learn Italian with Rocket Italian. Would I recommend it to a friend? Mmmm Yes, but with a little hesitation because of the very small sample of Italian voices.
Rocket Spanish — Panama
I tried Duolingo, but after a few lessons, the repetitiveness became annoying. Based on a friend's recommendation, I purchased Babbel, but cancelled during the trial period. As a beginning Spanish learner, I found it to be too difficult to follow.
I did some more research and decided that Rocket looked to be the best. I have not been disappointed; in fact, I have been extremely impressed with the effectiveness of the interactive lessons and the many additional tools provided to reinforce the lesson material. I don't expect to purchase any more language lessons; but if I do, it will be Rocket.
It has only been two days but I am beginning to get to grips with Espanol. I like that you can go at your own pace. Also, it is good fun! I have had quite a few laughs even though a lot of them are at my expense!
