Rocket Italian — New York/New York , United States
The program--either on desktop or tablet, often does not record my voice, and thus does not record portions of lessons. This is not getting better. Until Rocked Languages can improve its server, I'd advise avoiding the program.

I am generally very happy with the spoken feedback and the quality of the instruction of Spanish.
Unfortunately often my mic fails to pick up my spoken answer correctly. I bought a special mic for my iPhone and I hope that the mic performance will improve. However, I need to review and practice hard points such as writing with the correct accent marks. Doing the harder parts of lessons several times is helpful. I am very pleased with being able to download lesson lectures. Then I can practice away from the computer. This is very helpful. One problematic lesson: In Module one of Rocket Spanish, there is one lesson that is poorly designed. Presently I am doing the alphabet. Why is there no spoken practice of the alphabet? Words are presented as a vocabulary list to be memorized. How useless. ! But there is no testing or practice of spelling which is the object of the lesson. This pointless presentation of the alphabet is unlike the quality of other lessons. I wish it could be redone. Also, in this lesson it is argued that the alphabet is related to learning the correct pronunciation of Spanish. How knowing the pronunciation of letters such as j, z, h, w is helpful for pronunciation totally escapes my understanding. Anyway, knowing how to spell is important, but this is not practiced in the lesson. What a waste! I have never received an answer to emails that I have sent concerning Rocket Spanish. It is amazing that I am even doing the lesson given the many problems that I have had getting it to work on my iPhone and computer.
I couldn't get into it as I am at a more advanced level and I could find much in my trial edition. I never signed up to pay because of that. I didn't use customer service and can't really say about the price and I don't remember what it was. I'm guessing it would be okay if I had seen that the program was helpful in the trial. It would help to have a more helpful trial version.

Speaking in your target language I think is the key to success. The more you speak the faster you learn.
Rocket Languages has a test called Play It. It's where you in engage in a conversation with a native speaker. To me, that is my absolute favorite test. I have not seen anything like that anywhere. Rocket Languages has an amazing amount of resources and learning material to help you in your target language. Sadly, my Rocket Spanish is not working anymore. It worked flawlessly for a few weeks and now the audio just stops. I can't complete my learning, I can reload the page, but I can only make so far before it stops again. Technical support has not been able to resolve my issue. I have very limited use of the website. So I'm in the hunt for another language course. I've seen what's available and tried many, nothing tops Rocket Languages, so I will have to settle for second best. Moderators note: Customer support will be in touch again. We are sure the issue can be resolved.

I like the interactive part it really helps with memory. So far the voice recognition has been really annoying, maybe because im a perfectionist and when it wont record correctly I cant move on. Also I have not had any grammar lesson on conjugations. If i hadnt had a background in Spanish I think I would be a little lost by now.
Rocket Hindi — telangana , India
it is OK with rocket Hindi langue. But it is limited . i.e., There are explaining some basics with good understanding. we will learn all the basic words, but if we stick to those words, we can manage Hindi, but we cant speak Hindi like native speaker.
we still have to learn other content and practice alot apart from the rocket Hindi material.

Very good set up and structure. However, my main complaint is that the conversations never really got increasingly complicated. Additionally, they did not include too wide a range of vocabulary. The audio is great for learning pronunciation but I feel like I spent a lot of time and did not learn as much as I could have say, through duolingo which is free. I would only recommend this program to people who have never studied a language before because it goes slow enough that it may be beneficial to get over the initial fears of learning a language. However, for people such as myself with a more developed linguistic background, I felt as if the dialogues did not advance very much and that I did not really leave learning as much as I could have if I spent the same amount of time with other resources.
I feel as if Rocket Languages needs to drastically alter the content of the dialogues to better suit them for "intuitive" grammar and vocabulary acquisition. That being said, the main structuring of the program I found to be fantastic and the native audio files also were superb.
Rocket French — Gaborone , Botswana
Rocket Languages is an excellent way to learn a language . It opens you up to how you can pronounce the language through following the tutor. I enjoy the bit where you have to write because it is a good practice to know the words and how to pronounce them. I also like the flash cards because they enable you to pronounce and get to hear if you are doing it properly. My favorite is the quiz because it gives me the opportunity to show that I understand what I have been learning. I like Rocket Languages to an extend that I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone willing to try it. I enjoy it when it also corrects spelling to show you where you went wrong right away.
Rocket Sign Language
I wouldn't recommend this program. It don't live up to what it promises to provide. If you're a student in college or interested in taking something to test out of ASL 1 and 2, don't expect this to provide that ability. There are much better programs out there, some of which have more to offer for free.
My partner has RocketFrench, which is great and which he enjoys. I am a language teacher, so I help reinforce.
Now, I just bought RocketGerman -with the same hopes of the French version- and lasted 4 minutes of intro and am SHOCKED: I want to learn German, so why is Nik being such a bitch to Paul, saying his German accent is not as sexy as a French accent?! Why is she saying "especially if your daily job does not require a lot of brain power". Not to mention her horrid voice with unbearable high pitch. How am I supposed to learn with a condescending teacher? No thank you! I want to talk to someone from customer service.
