Rocket French — Lusaka , Zambia
I love the interactive learning. It is unlike anything I have experienced before. It is amazing how I am able to master the phrases and words in French by clicking on the interaction tubs over and over again. I can even dream in French now when I sleep.
Rocket Italian — Lake Oswego, OR , United States
I absolutely love Rocket Italian. I have tried Duo Lingo and Rosetta Stone and this is by far the most effective program I've used. This program is unique in that you hear new vocabulary and grammatical concepts in the context of a conversation and then delve in to the grammar after seeing it in context. Whoever wrote this really knew what they were doing because you will complete one lesson and then later in the lesson, or even a few lessons later, the grammatical concept will be fully laid out. This sense of "hey, I've heard that before" makes new grammar and vocab so much easier and more natural to learn. Seriously, it works. You do have to put a little work into memorizing the conversation in each lesson, but the "Practice this conversation" mode allows you to grade the task by slowly making it harder and harder by taking away words. Again, genius! My brain has been able to go back to draw on previously memorized conversation to help me remember conjugations, phrases, and grammar. I am in my mid-thirties and have a terrible memory (let's just say I make for a lousy trivia buddy), so it is shocking that I am having such success with my Italian. I love the multi-sensorial teaching style of Hear it/Write it/Know and I like that I can make flashcards to go back to challenging vocab from earlier lessons. Don't get me wrong, learning a language is never easy and happens slowly over time. But I have found that by studying little by little, I am actually able to retain so much. This was put to the test when I went to Italy last April. Given the fact that I had only completed the lessons from my Level I dashboard, I wasn't really expecting to do that great speaking to the locals. To my surprise, I was able to have full on conversations with people in Rome, Florence, and small villages in Umbria where English was not spoken. Several of the locals commented that my Italian was very good and that they could understand me well. It was one of the most satisfying things ever! I am now plugging through Level II and it's only getting easier and easier to learn the language, despite the more challenging content. I wholeheartedly recommend Rocket Italian. Just plug away at it 1-2 lessons a week and with time you will be impressed with what your brain can do.

Muchas Gracias. Soy aprendiendo espanol para rocket!
I love that rocket makes learning fun and it’s easy to get caught up in the lessons so that you hardly know how much time you have put in studying. Rocket makes learning and studying a language something enjoyable and not a chore to be done.
Rocket Japanese — Ontario , Canada
When I first began studying the Japanese language, I didn't know anything or how to read or write.
Thanks to great teachers Sayaka san and Kenny San, I learned how to construct an effective way to listen and talk and enjoy learning the Japanese language. In my learning, I aim to evoke the same excitement of discovery and achievement that I felt, I hope to get your video learning lesson soon. You deserve 5 stars for sure.

I absolutely love Rocket Spanish. I have tried so many programs from Rosetta Stone, Pimsleur, italki, and many more. This is by far the most beneficial program. It has a fantastic method of teaching. I am a Puerto Rican who spoke no Spanish and now living in Florida I see what a disadvantage speaking no Spanish was doing to me. After only completing half of lesson one, I am now able to hold somewhat of a basic conversation and it's only getting better. It really breaks down on how to read, write, pronounce, and use the vocabulary in the correct order. I am beyond grateful to Rocket Language. It's such a breeze that after this I am going to buy the Rocket French because I am that confident with this program. It's not only helping me with my native language but it's helped me to realize that I love learning different languages, and how much I want to venture out and try many more now. Thank you to Rocket Language!!!!

I love Rocket Spanish. I've tried Duolingo, it was free, but It got to the point where they were teaching things like "The bird watched the game on TV" and "The cows cleaned the farm yesterday". I also took level one of Destinos, which a story you followed on video, and had a text book and workbook for learning other vocabulary. It was good, but I feel Rocket Spanish is a better fit for me. With Rocket Spanish, I can study on my phone or tablet, so I can take it to work and study during lunch or when I have to travel. Second, I'm not wasting my time learning sentences I would never use in real life. And with Rocket Spanish, it's not just listening and typing a response, but I get to respond vocally as well. Other programs like Rosetta Stone may have this feature, but they don't offer lifetime use and free updates. Finally, I have to say that their customer support is second to none. When I first started I experienced a couple of problems, but both times the customer service people were quick to fix the issues and gete back to my studies right away. Right now I'm half way through level 1, and I'm looking forward to purchasing levels 2 and 3 as well.

I really enjoy the progressive and structural depth of each lesson--hearing a conversation, translating every word, repeating words and phrases, seeing the words written, having my pronunciation compared, flash cards--I can't imagine a better way of doing it!
I also love the daily scoring competition to stimulate a regular learning--I just want to keep extending my streak! It has been fun so far!

This program is the best. I have used the Pimsleur course for Spanish and although it is a good program for purely memorization of phrases, it does not teach you the language or explain the verb conjugations or sentence structure. I used the Italian program for my trip to Italy and it was wonderful. Some people actually thought i spoke the language fluently and I had to stop them and slow it down. The program was worth every penny.
I am now using the Spanish program and the difference in my understanding of the language and the speed with which I am learning it as compared to Pimsleur is unbelievable. If you want a program to learn a language and you are willing to put in the time and effort, this is your program.

I'm very impressed with the Rocket Languages method. I have studied different languages in a variety of settings: in a high school classroom, on my own with books, in a college classroom, and on my own with books and a native speaker to guide me. I have looked at other methods, such as Berlitz, Pimsleur, Rosetta Stone, and just the plain old web, but I'm enthusiastically happy about this.
As with all language learning, you have to keep trying and that means regular and frequent study. If you can only put ten minutes per week into the effort, then don't do this. Have a cocktail or watch TV. This method is focused on making you functional in several situations--if you're looking for grammar rules and verb conjugations, then this isn't for you. But if you want to learn and can spend the time building vocabulary, learning to correctly pronounce the words, and growing your understanding of how to speak or understand simple (at first) conversations, then Rocket Languages might be for you. At first, I thought the conversations were a little simple and I was worried that the vocabulary would be too limited. But I'm impressed with how much I'm learning so far and I actually look forward to my study time each day. I'm spending about half an hour per day on it, and in two weeks I've only missed one day. I got this Italian class via an offering to get all three levels for an insanely small amount of money. Pimsleur charges over a thousand dollars and Rosetta Stone is in the same ballpark. Rocket Languages is a quality offering at a very reasonable price. After I finish Italian, I might go for Mandarin...

I've tried Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur...don't waste your time and money on those, this is by far the best language program I've used. If you want a secondary program to expound with, try Duolingo concurrently while you go through this, but if you are only going to use one, stay with Rocket Languages. I would highly recommend it.
