So far I really like the amount of speaking in this course. Some of the words are very hard from the beginning and trying to learn the Kanji at the same time is a bit difficult but I'm hoping it repeats a lot over time so that I may get better at speaking and reading the language.

We're so happy to hear you are enjoying the speaking tools we have woven into Rocket Japanese. In terms of repetition, you might enjoy the reinforcement tools that we offer with the course, like "Flashcards," "Hear it! Say it!" etc., they are a great way to get reading and talking in Japanese.
My computer is not working . I would give all 5s. I had no experience with customer service. I would like a phone number and a live human being to answer

So far I've only done the first lesson. Everything was good except the hirigana 'de' in dekimashita was missing a dakuten (") so I read it as tekimashita. I don't know if that is intentional or not. This was in the Getting started - Extra: sort kana section.

i love this website, this is a great things to learn.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LUV IT
It's been a great way to review and practicing listening and speaking skills. It's a great starting point too. I live in Japan and have been picking up Japanese very slowly. Rocket Japanese does a good job balancing all elements of learning the language. It obviously isn't the best for learning kanji...BUT kanji isn't my goal right now. There are some great kanji apps out there to supplement that that too, such as kanji garden. This site is also very user friendly.
It's a great course and I haven't noticed any significant issues yet.
I purchased Rocket Japanese a few years ago and put it on the back burner. I've recently gotten my interest back up and have been practicing more. Not being an expert on language courses, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. The frustration I have is self inflicted as I have difficulty with sentence structure and conjugating verbs. That is no fault of the program, however. I just have to let go of established norms to understand better what I am trying to learn.
In around a week, I have almost caught up to what I learned in 2 years of my school's curriculum. The up-front price that they ask for may seem intimidating for most people at first but I can assure you that it is worth every dollar. You may as well be saving money by investing in Rocket Languages as it is a one-time purchase as opposed to its' competitors. I've only barely scratched the surface of this learning tool, but if it's as good as I think it is then I have nothing to worry about.
Nonetheless, it's not perfect (for most people) and it shouldn't be your only resource if you're learning Japanese but if it is then I guess it's good if you are an absolute beginner and want to focus solely on grammar/speaking. (I have not touched the kanji yet so I can't say too much about that)
Overall, this is definitely worth checking out if you are serious about learning a language.
