From a desk top computer or iPad / iPhone (App is free) you can study anywhere anytime. All work from your platforms are captured/saved. Customer support is super. Quick helpful responses. A great product at a great price. Take advantage of the savings
I had issues at the beginning of my own errors but once customer support helped me I’m one happy camper so to speak. Love it. Very satisfied. Now back to learning - made easy. Awsome work putting this package together. Often feel for Sayaka & Kenny whose repeated translations & expiation are great for me but the level of work to put it tighter demands respect. どうもありがとうございました
I appreciate Rocket Sign Language. A new student came to our school and since I had a little knowledge of sign language due to past hearing loss, I was asked to begin working with her. Rocket Sign Language has helped me remember so many important beginning elements to ASL. Thank you to all who have been a part of producing this material.
Overall, Rocket Languages is, without a doubt, well worth the price. The value for your money is the best. There really is not a better foreign language program out there. I have tried others as they do not match the quality of Rocket's.
I am very impressed with Rocket Languages. Studying foreign language has been a passion of mine for twenty years and I'm always looking for useful study tools. I've tried in-person classes at Berlitz, Inlingua, Boston Language Institute and others. I've tried remote study from many popular courses including Berlitz, Pimsleur, DuoLingo, and Babbel. Rocket Languages is currently my go-to top choice for online language learning.
Summary: It is most important to start SPEAKING a language as soon as possible to get comfortable with it. I think that Rocket does a decent job getting you ready with some key phrases, pronunciation, and review, but it overloads the learner with too much new vocabulary per lesson.
Format: I really like the audio format in a nice progressive pace and it's less 'cluttered' than the popular pod101 program. The review material is very well rounded, using audio, writing practice, spanish - english and english - spanish practice, plus flashcards (english - spanish).
Overall audio quality: Try the trial to hear them speak. Decide for yourself. In my opinion, Mauricio has a good accent and Carmen speaks slowly. Amy is a dork and I get a little tired of hearing her voice. Her Spanish makes me cringe. The "repeat after me" can be very rushed and I have to pause so that I get a chance to actually repeat a phrase.
Workload: The dialogues can be quite long (some almost 45 minutes!) and the practice has WAY too much vocabulary to absorb for one lesson. I'm currently doing a lesson in Level 2 that has 117 words.
I love Rocket Spanish it is so smart and fun it help me learn Spanish a lot
I love Rocket Japanese. I am able to hear myself speak Japanese. Second, I like the flash cards because it helps reinforce the new words that I've learned. I also like that I have indefinite use of the courses that I have bought.
Estoy aprendiendo Espanol otra vez. I learned quite a bit from age 2 through high school, but I let it lapse for over 40 years. I wanted to pick back up efficiently and comprehensively. As I have worked through the first 7 lessons in Rocket Spanish, I am amazed with how much has come flooding back. It has been like opening a chest that has been in the attic for 40 years. The lessons so far have linked to age old lessons, and are causing me to remember Spanish at a rate that I didn’t think was possible for an old guy like me.
I would not only recommend Rocket Spanish to someone learning Spanish for the first time, but also for those who are familiar and for those whom Spanish is an old friend, long forgotten.
Probably the most useful website/App you'll ever find when it comes to learning a new language. Duolingo and Babbel may be useful for simple languages such as Spanish or French but may not be suitable or fit for very complicated languages such as Mandrin/Japanese/Hindi. Rocket Language takes every measure to ensure you learn any given language in the easiest way and also in such a way which makes it easier for you to remember. Explanation is very clear in every lesson preventing any confusion but most of all topics are very specialised with multiple different types of quizes to test you, audio, lesson podcast, recorder. They even explain in every lesson common mistakes people make and how to avoid it.
The best thing about this in my opinion is every module/topic is split into writing lesson, culture lesson, audio and speaking lesson. This is the best way for me to learn because it helps me specialise in writing, speaking and even reading. If I had done it all together had I struggle and forget things quicker.
I purchased Rocket Spanish after watching a close friend communicate in Spanish, 2 months after he had purchased the program. He motivated me to buy it because of his rapid progression without a background in the language. He went on a trip to Colombia and flew to multiple airports, caught taxis, exc...Now we have become accountability partners and endeavor to practice a lesson daily. When we meet up, we tell each other about what we learned or struggle with.
This program helps me to practice aloud in Spanish at least 10 minutes a day due to the length of the lessons and the ability to track my progress. This is the everyday Spanish that I need between my other college studies. I have recommended it to all of my classmates, multiple professors, and pastor. The lessons incorporate applicable, real-life situations (birthdays, vacations, eating, working) that focus on conversational use of the language. I have already purchased levels 2 & 3. I think Rocket Languages is a great program and learning platform!
