Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with our voice recognition. The software can have some difficulty picking up on particular short sounds unique to the French language. But don't worry; we're here to help! Just give us a shout, and we'd be happy to set up a call to assist you in getting the best possible results with the voice recognition. Happy learning!

It sounds like you have found our first bonus Survival Kit Lesson. This is just to give you an example of the lesson style, so feel free to continue with the audio lessons instead. Keep up the good work!
It seems to be working. I've never tried to learn another language but this course has taught me a lot so far and I believe it's teaching me fairly well. I believe there is too much handholding so far in the beginner course. The translation leans too far on the English side of things and that creates problems. When the English phrase is too far removed from the Japanese translation you end up having to create a middle ground phrase to translate the translation. Some of the phrases translate well to very proper English and would make more sense in my mind, even if that's now how people regularly talk in America. Sometimes a literal translation would do a better job in teaching how phrases will be constructed in Japanese vs English. There are too many instances where I have to figure out how the course is trying to teach something before I can move forward with learning it. Sometimes this takes the form of inconsistencies in the flash cards. I bought the entire Japanese language course on sale and I think that it was pricey but fair. I don't plan on buying any other language courses any time soon, but if I did I would probably buy one from another company simply out of curiosity. I would recommend the Japanese courses to a friend.

Thanks for the feedback! Here at Rocket our translation philosophy is centred on conveying the meaning of the phrase, ensuring that you understand when and how to use the phrase rather than just the literal translation. That said, we know that literal translations are important for the learning process. If you want a more literal translation, look out for the grey lit. button on the top right of the phrases. Remember, our Audio Lessons are focused on communicating, so all the grammar will fall into place once you check out our Language and Culture Lessons. All the best!
I have just started Rocket French and I am loving it. It moves at just the right pace for me and I feel that I've learned so much in only two days. I'm excited to keep going. I really like that the learning is reinforced in a variety of methods to benefit many different learning styles.

It's truly disappointing that you omitted various clauses from your refund policy. For those using Apple Pay, if they wish to cancel their subscription, they're required to contact Apple? You haven't even attempted to facilitate the direct connection.
Response from Rocket Languages
We're sorry to hear that the refund process with Apple Pay didn't meet your expectations. Apple requires this process, but we'd be happy to jump on a call and help you contact them!

need to differentiate between things such as where are you from having 3 different options. It counts it wrong if you use a correct one but it's not what that "where are you from" wanted
