In Spanish we use the verb estar to express how you are feeling now.

I’m happy. Estoy feliz
I’m in love. Estoy enamorado / enamorada
I’m bored. Estoy aburrido / aburrida
I’m tired. Estoy cansado / cansada
I’m excited. Estoy emocionado / emocionada
I’m frightened. Estoy asustado / asustada
I’m angry. Estoy enojado / enojada
I’m jealous. Estoy celoso / celosa
I’m amazed. Estoy sorprendido / sorprendida
I’m content. Estoy contento / contenta
I’m nervous. Estoy nervioso / nerviosa
I’m busy. Estoy ocupado / ocupada
I’m worried. Estoy preocupado / preocupada
I’m furious. Estoy furioso / furiosa
I’m sad. Estoy triste
I’m embarrassed. Estoy avergonzado / avergonzada

If someone asks you ¿Cómo te sientes? you can use sentir, “I feel”… to answer.

I feel great! ¡Me siento de maravilla!
I feel lively. Me siento animado / animada.
I feel fantastic! ¡Me siento fabuloso! / fabulosa.
I feel hopeful. Me siento optimista.
I feel relaxed. Me siento relajado / relajada.
I feel terrible. Me siento fatal.

Do you feel like a queen today? Do you feel like a rock star?

If you’re feeling LIKE something, just add como “like”, to Me sientoMe siento como…

I feel like a queen. Me siento como una reina.
I feel like a rock star. Me siento como una estrella de rock.
