In lesson 1.1 both words mean 'everyone'. How are they different?

I think so coz salam aleekum meaning peace upon you
But im not sure is it right answer :) i just study

Sorry for the late reply. The "everyone" part of those two words is "kum". So "bekum" can be translated as "with you all" while "aleekum" is more of "upon you all".
