pronounce of بقالك

hi,

why is the word بقالك pronounced ba2alak (I speak/ ba'alak) when in the Arabic word there is the letter قا(Qaaf) ?

Qaaf is a silent letter (lesson 7.7). Also, I think the word for "I speak" is "batkalem".

Like Kntlne said, the letter Qaaf is a silent or more guttural sound in the Egyptian dialect.
