A little feedback

你好我市Patrice I was wondering why you are not going deeper into the chinese signs in your course. I´m learning chinese at a school too and i have to remember all the signs for the course, which is pretty hard but i think that is kinda like the coolest thing about chinese. I thik it´s pretty bad that you just let Pinyin right next to the signs cause that way people who really wanna learn the signs are not able too cause they are always glancing at pinyin.Speaking a language is good and for the most languages it´s the most important but if you wanna travel to 中国 you def need to know the signs already for the choice of the right bathroom. ^^ So for all those who want to know the signs too, you need to learn them by your own and try to memorize them. For the rest it´s not bad the course even thou it could have been less build up like situation and more so you know the most words after learning 再见

Oh and an own skype channel or so would be pretty helpful so the students could write and speak to eachother and improve their skills.

Hey Patrice!

I am studying Chinese at Univ also, what level are you at? If you don't want to look at pinyin while you use the text to follow along then just scroll your screen down until it just shows Chinese at the top of the screen and English at the bottom. If you want to read nothing but Chinese then yeah it is tricky and you should use your browser's zoom function (ctrl + +)to make it where you can see nothing but characters.

I like the skype idea. We could make a dedicated forum sub-section for posting your skype ID and times you are available for practice. Of course remind people to keep privacy in mind for this, maybe make a skype for just Rocket CHinese? idk.

also, it is 是 not 市

I support the Skype suggestion for a great way of reinforcing the words learned.
