Just noticed that on part b) the example is written as di4 si4, but the sound sample is actually xie4 xie!

The correct translation of 'fourth' is 'dėsė' as it is written in Lesson 1.7. This can sound similar to xie xie and unfortunately it's hard to hear the difference.
I will pass this on to our Product Development team as it sounds like we may need to re-record that!

It is worth noting that an 8 year old chinese speaker (my chinese girlfriend's son) was sat next to me at the time, and he also thought the sound sample said xie4 xie, so yes it would definitely be worth re-recording to avoid further confusion.
