Hi all, My name is Patrick and I am from Co. Tipperary in Ireland. I just got the combo-course today and am really enjoying the first couple of lessons. I am 52 years old and have always wanted to visit China and will eventually get there in the next couple of years, by at least 2012, and maybe even sooner. In any case, I have now got the course and the time to learn the language and am looking forward to making daily advances, and from what I have seen so far I feel pretty confident I will do very well using Rocket Chinese. Incidentally, if anyone knows how to say Ireland and Irish in Mandarin I'd appreciate you telling me :)

??? It is good to know that you have been enjoying the course so far and are confident with your daily progress. The Chinese word for Ireland is "???"/

Let's get you talking in Chinese.

We love Chinese people and Chinese culture - from irresistible C-dramas and comforting wonton soup to the majestic Forbidden City and ancient martial art forms! And there's no better way to connect with them than by learning 中文 (Chinese).
