Leaderboard not updating

For about two weeks now, the Leaderboard has not been properly updating nor displaying my points. My dashboard appears to be working fine. I contacted RL support on August 24 and they responded saying the problem would be addressed. However, nothing has been resolved so far. While being a strong RL proponent, a bug of this significance is a major irritant.

That is strange because it has been updating and showing my points. It is strange for software to behave that way.

Here's an update on the Leaderboard failure. "The problem has not been corrected." Why can't RL correct flaws in their program in a timely manner? Or as Robert C7 suggested is this being done purposefully? Are any other users seeing anomalies in their Leaderboard results?

It looks like I may be the next person to eventually pass your all-time score...maybe in three months. When that happens, I bet you will be credited with all of your points and become the new #1, for a while, until the software suspends your leaderboard updates. Also, I notice that if you are studying multiple languages, your highest score will only appear on the leaderboard. There are some days where I have lots of points that day in two different languages but only the highest of the two appears in the top ten. I don't see anything wrong with that...

Hi all - Just an update on this. We didn't fully anticipate the high level of points that members have been accruing. So, to cut a long story short, the server memory has been getting effected by the points system, causing some high points users to have issues. We are working on the issue and hope to have it resolved within the next fortnight. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jason, The update has not only fixed the leaderboard problem, but has noticeably improved the RL experience. The system performance is much quicker and even the audio appears to be much clearer. Thank you, JimD

Hi Jim - I was just about to send you an email about that. The IT guys managed to resolve the issue so it should be all sorted from here!
