I like Rocket Chinese very much and I can see constant improvements being made and that is great.

Having used Rocket Chinese for about a year now I would suggest that you add in some basic lessons on "pinyin" .  When I first started with Rocket Chinese I have no clue as to how the pinyin actually works.  I only see the pinyin in each of your lessons.

As Rocket Chinese does not have any lessons on the use of "pinyin" I ended up having to pay to take a Mandarin beginner's course at the university to finally learn what the pinyin is and how to use and read them.

It is one very crucial area that should be taught right from the beginning so that a good foundation on the right pronunciation can be used to build on.

I would love to see you put up "pinyin" lessons and consolidate my knowledge further.

Best regards,,

PJN 你好!

Thanks for your comment and suggestion. I will also pass this on to our development team and see if they can incorporate this in the next round of improvements. Don't be shy to post any further suggestions or improvements, without our customers' input we wouldn't have such a good product.

Keep up the good work!   -   加油!

I found this "Pinyin Chart with Audio" online from Yabla Chinese:

https://chinese.yabla.com/chinese-pinyin-chart.php

If you click on one of them, it will pop up the different tones.
