Hello, I just finished taking the motivaitonal test and it seemed like there was an error in on of the questions. The question was: What is the right way to say “I can, thankyou.“ And the answer that it gave as correct was : “Wo haikeyi, xiexie.“ Doesnt that mean, “I am alright/so-so(at doing something), thankyou.“? -----Selena

Lin Ping, there was also a place in Lesson 2.7 that said "Ta yao qing wo he yibei kafei" meant "He is going to shout me a cup of coffee." Is this correct? The lesson said "qing" used like that meant "to treat somone to something" (for example: dinner) Xiexie again, Selena

Hi Selena, Yes, that is correct and so are you. Qing 请 does mean "to treat somebody to something" and in this case 他要请我喝一杯咖啡 "He is going to treat me to a cup of coffee." It has the same meaning as "to shout somebody something". 请 can be used to treat people to a variety of things from drink and meals etc. Thank you for your question and I hope this helps! - Lin Ping
