Hi I’m new to this course and would like to know if there is a way of highlighting a particular word and then hearing its audio. Rather than having to listen to the whole conversation which is rather tiresome cheers Phil

Salut! Thank you for your posts! Philip, the My Vocab feature should allow to hear a word being said. If you add a word to your My Vocab list, then when you're in your master list of all your words, you can hit the play button and listen to that word or a phrase containing that word. Alipour, I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying the course with me! Best of luck to both of you with your French learning! Marie-Claire :)

Can you please explain why ma mere remercie son frere (is in the first person) whereas - papa finit son livre and mon pere remplit les verres (is in the third person not the first person) Also, ma soeur Lise attend un coup de telephone (third person) whereas - mon cousin Philippe joue de la guitare (is in the first person) Thanks Sandra

Salut, Philip G - to answer your question, you don't need the article 'la' in front of 'bouteilles' because the sentence is about unopened bottles in general, not a specific bottle in particular Sandra E - All of these sentences that you gave are actually in the third person because the subject is not the person who is speaking. Are these from a specific lesson? If so, I could take a look and try to pinpoint your question and explain something more fully. Bon chance! Marie-Claire
