I don't understand it when Nik says..."How do you ask how am I?" When would you look at someone and say "How am I"? I'm lost. Something "dir" instead of "mir" she says. How often does the teacher reply in these forums? Is there a way to contact her directly?

I think they use the phrase "How am I" when you are asking something like "How am I doing?" or "Am I doing okay at this?" I was also confused at this lesson. I might be wrong, but this is my best guess. Sorry, but I don't know how to contact the teacher. :(

Actually I think you can contact the teacher in the topic "Feedback and Comments"

Thanks for the reply Allen. Have you ever seen the teacher respond?

Hello Verve, Sorry for the late reply. The conversation in lesson 1.0 is written down below the audio course. Niki is asking Paul "Wie geht's dir?" which means "How are you?". I hope this helps! - Paul
