Konichiwa I was learning some Japanese numbers and to help myself learn I started to do sums with them, but I don't know the Japanese words for add, subtract, times, devoid ect. If someone could list some translations of math words that would be great thanks.

Here are a few. Plus: Tasu. (this means to add) Ni tasu hachi wa ju desu. 2+8 is 10. Hiku: Go hiku san wa ni desu. 2-5 is 3. Divide: Waru Ju waru ni wa go desu. 10 divided by 2 is 5. Times: Kakeru Ni kakeru ni wa yon desu. 2 by 2 is five. decimal pt. "ten" Eg. 4.23 Yon ten nijuusan Fractions: Denominator+bun no+numerator One third: san bun no ichi.

Just some corrections: Hiku: Go hiku san wa ni desu. 5-3 is 2. Times: Kakeru Ni kakeru ni wa yon desu. 2 by 2 is 4. The grammar to the left was correct but the numbers to the right were a bit off on these two bits.
