What writing system would be the most helpful when reading general things like signs and a hand guide booklet in Japan? I plan on learning most of it but I would like to know which system I should completely learn for most everyday reading requirement products.

Konnichiwa!! To read general things, you would still need to know both *Hiragana* and *Katakana* as well as some *Kanji*. Please read the new post on __Japanese writing system__!! Soredewa, gambatte!!

Where Could I find a complete list of all of theses symbols with a japanese to english translation? i.e... ni - (symbol) wa - (symbol) T.V. (symbol) etc... If looked around on the site and cant find one, I also looked on the internet but they aren't that great of quality (looks like they were just typed on paper and printed out) Domo Arigato :D
