Hola, I started the Rocket Spanish course a couple of weeks ago and read in one of Mauricio's motivation articles that it's a very good idea to write in spanish to learn. I was wondering if anybody could look this over and let me know how I'm doing? Tengo una gata. Se llama Leelu y tiene cinco años. Ella es de Sooke en Vancouver Island. Leelu es flaca y muy bonita. Su color es castaña. No trabaja, pero Leelu gusta dormir todo las días. Ella gusta jugar con sus pelotas y correr en la sala de estar.

I'm not too sure so it's more of a ? I think you could use le gusta jugar. For I like it is me gusta. If it is we like say nos gusta. If you want to specify by name could say A Leelu le gusta. Le stands for you (informal and formal), he, she, and they. i don't understand la sala de estar though. Salud

I just googled it and it seems it would be la gusta jugar? The cat being female? Not sure though. I guess porque would be better than pero too. La sala de estar is the living room. Just learned that the other day.

Su color es castaño. (It's a "o" at the end because is refering to the color word, and"color" is a masculine word in Spanish.)) No trabaja, pero *a* Leelu* le* gusta dormir. **A ella le gusta** The majority o time you will need to use 5 parts to complete a sentence with the verb gustar. 1. start with A 2. subject 3. Indirect Object pronoun (me, te, le, les, nos, vos) 4. verb gustar (can be gusta(if the word ater is singular) or gustan (if the word after is plural). 5. phrase (can be anything that you like) Example: Rosa likes the apple. A Rosa le gusta la manzana. Rosa likes the apples. A Rosa le gustan las manzanas. We you talk you don't necessary need parts 1-2. You can say: Le gustan las manzanas. (If the other person knows about who are you talking about). Hope this help!!

Hi Daniela Just spotted another little thing. Días is a masculine noun and is in the plural, so every day would be "todos los días". Saludos cordiales
