Hi, loving my Chinese course. Just a question to the team about the My Vocab function. I've been using it quite a lot to reinforce meaning. Problem is, I went to add "gaoxing" and found the system had already added "xing" (surname), so I couldn't click on the whole of "gaoxing" and add it as "happy". Same thing with jiandao - the "jian" had already been highlighted. Is there any way around this? Thanks. Nancy

Hi Nancy, I've just added "gaoxing" to your MyVocab list, it is possible, just a little tricky to do. Another way around this issue (unfortunately its not the most elegant) is to select any word. For example, hilight Xièxie, click the 'aBc' icon, then replace Xièxie with gāoxìng in the popup Hope this helps

Thanks Bruce. However...now it seems like I can't use the My Vocab function? I can click on a word, get the box up and type something - but I can't get it to save and highlight? Please advise. Thanks, Nancy

I saved "comprenez" to my vocabulary and the audio icon didn't show up so I can't hear how it is pronounced. With other words I didn't have this problem.

Hi Gemeniguy, We don't have every word in our database, in fact I think we only have 60% of all words so unfortunately there are a lot that won't show up
