Salut I was looking through some pics from our Paris trip last year and came across some photos that prompted me to write this post! Not far from where we were staying I stumbled across LapeyRonie cafe (http://www.lapeyronie.fr) 9 rue Brantôme in the Marais, 3rd Arrondisement. The owners are very cheerful fellows and (as most French are) quite appreciative of the efforts I made to speak French. I would highly recommend it as a place to get a great coffee (you can choose from quite a few coffee blends that they have). While the coffee in France is generally quite good, these guys are a step above, so if you love your café avec de l'eau chaud make sure you check them out! If anyone has any other recommendations for coffee in Paris (or any other part of France) I would love to hear about it as we are heading back there (at a yet to be determined time!).

Salut! I spent most of May in Paris with friends and I was surprised by how many people used the Nespresso system in their homes. The coffee tastes great! Needless to say I purchased one when I got home to Canada.

Let's get you talking in French.

We love French people and French culture - from buttery croissants and delicate macarons to gorgeous gardens and gilded châteaux! And there's no better way to connect with them than by learning le français.
