one is given the translation (i can't find it any more) from the french, je ne le trouve plus.
i've two problems with it
1. is this the most accurate translation
2. is this the most common way a french person would say it

Don't you say "Je ne peux pas le trouver plus" - peux from pouvoir 'can' takes the negative. This is the most accurate, can't tell you what the colloquial pattern is.

Thanks for your reply. I also thought, this was the more accurate translation.
i do find that the Rocket French English transcripts are sometimes less than helpful

Bonjour Philip!
The correct way to say that "I can't find it any more." is "Je ne le trouve plus."
However, you may also say "Je n'arrive plus le trouver." which means "I am no longer able to find it." (Arriver means 'to arrive' but in this contexts is used as 'not able to'.
