Salut, this is for Marie Claire, just wondering about the various dialects there are in France. I know in the United States, people from the northern states can't always understand us southerners and they have to ask again and again what we said, even though it's all English. I noticed on one lesson Paul saying the word "cherche" almost like English would "shershe". then you said the word completly different sounding, with a bounce so to speak. So would someone in France have trouble understanding someone else in France in a different region. Just a thought. thanks, i am enjoying my lessons. Gary Wages

Hi there, usually French people can understand each other, even though the accents do vary a bit. But I guess if you try hard you can also understand Scotish and Irish accents even though they are quite different from American English, it might just be slightly harder. In Rocket French Premium Plus and Platinum you will get exposed to different accents again to make sure that you feel comfortable. All the best
