HI, "Le chat est mouillé" Is the “t” in chat pronounced since the next word starts w/ a vowel? But I thought the pronunciation w/ “t” was how you say “la chatte” (fem.). Are they the same? thanks, Caleb

Hi Caleb, with "être"/"est" the "liaison is compulsory for following words but not for word in front of it, so when saying "le chat est" the "t" is silent. "LA chatte" is the feminine form so the "t" is pronounced... I hope that helps :D
