I went to a little shop in Paris and the lady behind the counter was trying to tell me that the cheese is very cheap (I think?!) but I couldn't quite figure out whether she said le or la fromage...

I actually just listened to the Rocket French audio lesson that covers the word "cheese", so I know it's "le fromage". Have fun in Paris, I wish I was there too! :D Michael

for celestial[heavenly] things you use the masculine le for terrestrial[earthly]things you use the femmine la as far as I know
