Quetion 5 on page 7: It looks to me like the last part of the sentence, "...quand je l'aie vue" is in the subjunctive. Shouldn't it be in the perfect, "...quand je l'ai vue"? Also, since "vue" is refering to "him," shouldn't it be "vu"?

But in this example it actually wouldn't matter. Remember that only when the verb "etre" is used as the auxillary verb does the past participle have to agree with the speaker. For example if a woman was speaking she would say "Je suis allée" "I went", whereas a man would say "Je suis allé". But both would say "'J'ai mangé ce matin" "I ate this morning". The past participle doesn't change when the verb "avoir" is used, only when the verb "être" is used. So it should be "Je l'ai vu" "I saw him", regardless of whether "I" is a man or woman. Sorry. I mixed that up. It actually "does" matter if the direct object is masculine or feminine. So it should be "Je l'ai vu" because the person being looked at is a man, and it would be "Je l'ai vue" if the person being looked at is a woman. The past participle has to agree in gender with a direct object. But the other part of what I said about the use of "avoir" and "être" and the past participle agreeing with the gender of the speaker is correct, I believe.
