Salut Ami! 'A vous' is the formal way of saying 'to you.' In French, there are two ways to address someone in the second person. 'Vous' is the formal way and 'toi' is the informal. So if you're speaking to your friend or younger sibling, you would use 'toi' whereas if you're speaking with a professor, a stranger, or your boss, you'd want to use 'vous.' Thanks for the question and best of luck with your French learning! Merci!
