Hi there, I have just started to learn French with Rocket French and I enjoy it a lot. But I do have a question as I am a little bit confused. I have met a very nice girl when I was in France over christmas and we are still writing each other emails . In one of her last emails she wrote "mon chou" and I have no idea what it means... can you help? Thank you Michael :D

Hi Michael, it seems like the girl you've met likes you a lot. Literally "mon chou" means "my cabbage", but what it really means is "my dear" or "my sweetheart". Other expressions are "mon amour" (my love) or "mon coeur" (my darling/ my heart). Good luck! Nathalie
