Lesson 3.1 , je la vois. Waouh, elle va trop vite! Claire seems to pronounce "vite" two different ways in this lesson: one with a definite voicing of the final -e, giving the word 2 distinct syllables (vi-teh), and the other way without voicing the -e ( as veet). Are both ways correct, or is one way more correct, or even incorrect?? I am aware that final -e is often voiced in poetry or song to add a syllable/sound to facilitate meter/ rhyme. How about in this case?? Merci pour votre explication. Michel

Bonjour Michael! Both pronunciations are correct and it simply depends on the inclination of the speaker. Neither way of pronouncing the word changes the meaning but may add emphasis depending on the context. The long and the short of it is that both are fine and not to worry. J'éspère que cela vous aide! - I hope this helps! - Marie-Claire
