word for fluent

ClochardThu, 09 Jul 2009 03:21:35 -0500
What would be the better/correct way of saying: "I'm not fluent in French."
- "Je ne parle pas couramment le français" ou
- "Je ne parle pas avec aisance le français"
(Obviously I'm not fluent, or I wouldn't be asking.)

Also, what would the French equivalent be for "Not by any stretch of the imagination."

Salut,

that would definitely be
"Je ne parle pas couramment le français"

Merci
