This is a great resouce to help you learn Deutsch. It is dated but is still worth the price. Free! It is the same material that Barrons Mastering Germany uses with their course at a cost of $60.00. The mp3s can be download with a right click and then use the "save as" option. Hope this helps someone.

Very thorough, but those German accents, the type-writer instructions, and the World War II style cover sheet to the .pdf file frighten the hell out of me !
Certainly worth a look, but just keep telling yourself that the "teachers" aren't annoyed at you. So ignore them shouting the German at you !!

Thank you Mike. It is useful to contrast with Rocket, much more friendly but every difference helps.

This is an okay resource. The BBC is better and free with fun video done with a German comic. You are better off staying with this course. ANYTHING FROM GERMANY will be of little help. They teach here using methods that are 50 years old. No knew fun ways for memory tricks. That would be too effective. Germans do not believing in doing things that work. only what they are told to do.

Here what they do in Germany. Put you in a class with people that are on all levels knowledge and from all countries around the world and then only speak to you in German. This is so the LAZY teachers do not have too work too hard. If you can call them teachers.
Germans want you to speak German . But they do little to assist you. Do not go through the horror I did. Learn at home, never learn in Germany. It will save you a lot of pain and money. Courses here cost 1,400 to 4,000 dollars for very poor training. The cost of this course compared to those fees, is amazing...
