Hello. I've never known how to form sentences such as "*I want _you_* to do this", "*You need _me_ *to do that", etc. How is this done?

Hi, there are quite a few different ways of saying "I want you to do..." depending on whether it's a command or a request and whether you want to address the person in a formal or casual way. Here are some examples: Ich möchte dass du das machst = I would like you to do this Ich will dass du das machst! = I want you to do this! Ich möchte dass Sie das machen = I would like you (formal) to do this Ich will dass Sie das machen = I want you (formal) to do this Here are some more examples addressing different people using different personal pronouns (like I, you, he, she, etc.) Ich möchte dass er den Abwasch macht = I would like him to do the dishes. Ich will dass sie den Abwasch macht = I want her to do the dishes. Er will dass ich gehe = He wants me to go. Sie will dass er geht = She wants him to go. I hope that helps :D
