Hallo I am a little lost... What if I want to write these sentences beginning with You and They.... You are my sisters _*Sie sind meine Schwestern*_ They are my sisters *_Sie sind meine Schwestern_* Is that how you say both sentences in German? thank you in advance:)

I think I figure it out You are my sister should be ..... Ihr sind meine Schwestern since sie - you is for singular and ihr - you is for plural is that right?

I want to say... You speak German. _*Sie spreche Deutsch*_ They speak German. *Sie spreche Deutsch* is that right?

Hey Kitana, You are my sisters would be, "Ihr seid meine Schwestern" You speak German would be, "Ihr sprecht Deutsch"; They speak would be "Sie sprechen Deutsch". Realize those are both plural statements. Here is a rough guide: Singular Ich spreche I speak Du sprichst You speak(informal) Sie sprechen You speak(formal) er/sie/es spricht He,She,it speaks Plural Wir sprechen We speak Ihr sprecht You speak Sie/sie sprechen They speak I hope that helps you out, -Cooper- :D

Kitana, I'm not sure if I understand in what context you are trying use, "Sie sprechen Deutsch". If you said" Sie sprechen Deutsch" directly to someone, you would be *telling* them they speak German. If you were speaking with a friend, about some people that speak German, then you could still say "Sie sprechen Deutsch". If you were talking about someone else singularly, you could say Er spricht Deutsch(he speaks German) or sie sprecht Deutsch(she speaks German). If you are *asking* someone if they speak German, you would say "Sprechen Sie Deutsch?" (Do you speak German?-_formally_), or "Sprichst Du Deutsch?"(Do you speak German?-_informally_) or "Sprecht Ihr Deutsch?"(Do all of you speak German?)
