I've been listening to several German podcasts to help with my listening abilities. There has been one word I keep hearing that alludes me. I've looked the infinitive up in the dictionary and it still doesn't "really" give me the common usage. The word is or as I am hearing it is or seems to be in the past tense (geklaut). The dictionary meaning of the infinitive "klauen" means to pinch or somewhat kinda take without paying. An example of a sentence usage is, "Dass war leider geklaut.". Anyone?

Anyone?[/quo] Klauen - is to steal, to lift (steal). Geklaut is the past tense of this verb. Dass war leider geklaut. That was unfortunately stolen. I was not sure what type of explanation you were looking for, that is my understanding of that word. Ich hoffe geholfenen den. Viel glueck.
