Lesson 3.4

ChrisBWed, 20 Jan 2010 21:01:21 -0600
I can't make out Paul's translation of "Which tram goes to the Konigsplatz?" in Lesson 3.4 I am missing what comes between "Welche Straßenbahn" and "Königsplatz?'

Vielen Dank!

Hi Chris,

I say the following:

Welche Straßenbahn fährt zum Königsplatz?
Which tram "drives to the" Königsplatz?

In English you would probably just say "goes" rather than "drives" but in German you use the verb "fahren" (to drive).

I hope that helps.
Paul
