Unter, unten and darunter

Kyle TThu, 31 Mar 2011 20:09:32 -0500
What's the difference between unter, unten and darunter and when do I use each perspectively? Many thanks.

"unter" means "below" or "underneath" or "under"
"unten" means "below" or "down"
"darunter" means "beneath" or "under it".
You see there are some very small differences in meaning which determine when you would use each word. Sometimes you could use either of them sometimes only one of them fits. It really depends on the situation. Do you have a specific example that you need some help with?
