I've seen the M usually written as an N. It's really silent and difficult for English speakers to pronounce. If you think of when kids say "nya nya" as in mocking someone, that's kind of where the nasalization happens, in your nose. Listen carefully to the Hindi speakers and try to mimic them. Again, it's not a common sound to make if you're a native English speaker and takes practice. A Hindi tutor told me it's not critical. A Hindi speaker will still understand you. Usually it's used when a word is plural.

How do you pronounce मैं Main and हैं hain.? मैं Main means 'I' the letter 'n' stands for nasalized. It is pronounced like 'main' hand in French. Just say mai while pinching your nose to get nasalization. हैं hain means'are'. It is pronounced like hair without r sound. Just say hai while pinching your nose to get nasalization.
