Hope you are happily learning Hindi vocabulary . Here is some information regarding the weather patterns in India with Hindi words!

Sounds good? Have a go!

India (bhaarath भारत ) is a very large country (dhesh देश ) with great weather (mausam मौसम ) diversity. Various

parts of India are known with different weather patterns. The geographical (bhoogolik भूगोलिक) diversity

(vividhathaa विविधता ) of India accounts for the regional weather pattern. The huge mountain areas (pahaadee

kShethroM पहाडी क्षेत्रों) have very low temperature (kam thaapmaan कम तापमान) whereas the temperature

(thaapmaan तापमान) in gigantic plains is high. The Thar Desert (Thaar registhaan थार रेगिस्तान) in the western

India (pashchimee bhaarath पश्चिमी भारत) makes that part very hot (garam गरम ). But the North-Eastern

(poorvothar पूर्वोतर) India is made up of fertile landscapes (upajaaoo bhoomi उपजाऊ भूमी). The Himaalayaas to the

North (uththar उत्तर) prevents the Arctic winds (aarktik havaa आर्क्टिक हवा) from entering the sub continent (up

mahaadweep उप महाद्वीप ) and thus plays a vital role in the country’s weather pattern. India is a monsoonal

country - the contribution of South Western borders (dhakShiN pashchimee seemaaoM दक्षिण पश्चिमी सीमाओं ), Bay

of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

How was that? Were you be able to easily recognise the Hindi letters?

You may have to refer to the Grammar lessons to get the correct pronunciation of certain Hindi words.

Please feel free to come back with questions that you may have.

kaise haiM aap sab? kaisee chal rahee hai aapkee paDaaee?

khair, bhaarath meM tho garmiyoM ke dhin shuroo hue haiM. garmee se Chutkaaraa paane ke lie log tharah tharah ke upaay DooMD rahe haiM. kuCh log Chuttee manaane kelie hil steshan jaathe haiM, kuCh aur tho ghar meM e see rakhthe haiM, aur jo yah sab naheeM kar sakthe, chupchaap sahathe haiM !

Were you able to comprehend the above paragraph? Well, here are some tips to help you out.

khair = Well

garmiyoM ke dhin = hot days ( summer )

Chutkaaraa paane ke lie = to get rid of

Chuttee manaane ke lie = to go for holidays

chupchaap = silently ( kind of being helpless )

Here is the text in Devnagari script.

खैर, भारत में तो गर्मियों के दिन शुरू हुए हैं। गर्मी से छुटकारा पाने के लिए लोग तरह तरह के उपाय ढूंढ रहे हैं । कुछ लोग छुट्टी मनाने केलिए हिल स्टेशन जाते हैं, कुछ और तो घर में ए सी रख्ते हैं, और जो यह सब नहीं कर सक्ते, चुपचाप सहते हैं !

It can be a bit challenging to find word by word meaning, but I am quite confident that you will be able to get a general idea about the paragraph with the help of the tips!

Have a go!

I have a question Nikita...When you are writing in Hindi script example when writing "namaskaar" that is how you spell it but when you read it, it looks completly different namaskaar in hindi script is spelled like namasakaar. why isnt it spelled like it supposed to be and how do i write words in hindi script? Please answer soon!! Because I am interested in learning Hindi.
