Extra Vocabulary words

Since verbs are so important in language, I would like to see as each new verb is introduced into the conversation to also have it placed in the "Extra Vocabulary" box in the written portion of the lessons. Maybe conjugate them simply as well. I see some of the verbs are written down and conjugated, some aren't. The irregular verbs would be most beneficial like this. Overall I like the basic structure of Rocket and have learned way more in a short time than I ever did with Rosetta.

Hello Tenlayers, Thanks for your post and your good suggestions. There was some intention to include new verbs in the Extra Vocabulary section whenever they are featured in the lesson in some way. And you will also be seeing more on verbs and conjugations in the Grammar and Culture lessons that are sent out weekly. At times it's tricky to add all verbs as they appear, because in the audio lessons we may not cover a certain tense until much later. But I do hope the Grammar lessons address this issue to a degree. That said, when we update the current transcript, we can happily look at adding more verbs to the document. Thanks again for your post, Sincerely -Rocket Italian

I would like to see a lesson on various idioms. I have been chatting via Facebook con la mia cugina, la sua figlia, e la sua nipote a Roma. Sometimes I want to translate one of our idioms into Italian, or use an Italian idiom when speaking to them. It would be great to have an entire Grammar and Culture section on commonly used figures of speech.

Cara Ginaemory, yes, it could be a good idea...maybe for the next level of Rocket Italian. Our languages have so many idioms that we would probably have to divide them by topics, otherwise it could be hard to find the one you need. It is also tricky to translate an idiom from English to Italian and vice versa because quite often they do not make any sense!! Keep on chatting with your relatives ,it's a wonderful practice and we hope to be able to help you soon. Saluti da Rocket Italian
