Thanks Maria for responding. I go online to the dictionary but as I've found it's not very reliable. I'm just the basic word that would be used. ie... Passed away Funeral death to die = morire ? grave To express sorrow for some-ones loss. to take their last breath how would you express some-ones heart break. Ciao Fran, the verb "to pass away" can be translated as "morire" "funeral" is "funerale" "death" is "morte" "to die" is "morire" "grave" is "tomba" "to express sorrow for some-ones loss" is "fare le condoglianze" " to breathe one's last" is "spirare" I hope this will helpful Ciao
