Which is correct. " un negozio nuovo" or "un nuovo negozio". Rocket Italian says the former but two language translators and an Italian grammar site say that nuovo is one of those adjectives that precedes the noun?? There is a new shop.

Ciao Thosbryan I had the same question and I've cut and paste Maria reply. Hope this helps you. -Un nuovo negozio ( which means that the speaker has never heard about he shop before but it doesn't mean the shop is new) -Un negozio nuovo (which means that the shop is new) Fran
