How would I explain my job/work correctly?? (io) lavoro a miniera di carbone = I work at a coal mine, an under ground coal mine. So under ground would be...... sotterraneo (underground) or nell'ambito di terra (under ground)?????? Grazie Fran N

Ciao Fran N, the correct sentence will be : (io) lavoro in una miniera di carbone sotterranea ("miniera" is a feminine noun). I hope this helps Buon divertimento con Rocket Italian Ciao

Io capisco "pronto," ma, cuando una donna risponde al telefono, anche dice "pronto," o, "pronta?"

Ciao Donato, when answering the phone, you always use "pronto", never "pronta". Usually the full sentence used is " pronto, chi parla?" (= hello, who is speaking?) I hope this helps :) ciao
